Hi,
My dad just had a kidney transplant 2 months ago (My sister donated). He has been given the okay to go to Disney (in August). However he can not spend long periods of time in direct sunlight.
While our park plans are in the mornings and at night, I'm still a little concerned. He is getting an ECV with a little canopy and all the mist-fans and other gadgets to go along. I have heard that guest relations can give you a front of the line of ticket to get out rides in direct sunlight(with a doctor's note).
Has anyone else heard of this or done this before? Is there anything else we should know about? Any suggestions/comments would be good. I've read on Disney's website and didn't really find anything too helpful.
THANKS!!!
