How often does this happen? I dont wanna have to worry about getting over charged and having to get it fixed. So if it happens often then we're probably gonna pay OOP, since we're only gonna be saving $30 if we do the dining plan. Another thing I dont understand is how is it possible to over charged? Money wise I can see happening, but credits?

We were there June 3-10 on the dining plan. We didn't have any trouble at all with being overcharged the entire week. We used anywhere from 1- 4 CS meals at a time and 1- 10 snack options at a time. (We always used 4 TS options at a time). As a matter of fact, we were UNDERCHARGED twice and they were able to correct it at the register.

You always have to check your receipt. Yesterday, DD19 got two snacks at Pinocchio Village House and was charged two table service credits. The thing is, we weren't supposed to have any table service credits left. Her receipt said we had 8 TS's left, so the only thing I can think that happened is that our last table service credits were Sunday night at the HDDR for 5 people (total 10 credits) and they didn't charge us for them. Then when she went to get 2 snacks, they mistakenly rang them up as TS credits and that left us with 8. :confused3

I just posted a thread about this. We just got back last night and we were charged a TS for our 17 month old at Akershus. We didn't catch it until we had only one night left and should have 4 TS left for our last dinner and we had only 3. So we went to the front desk of our resort and they looked it up (we didn't even know which restuarant did it). They found it and corrected it without any problems. It happened to us because obviously our waiter didn't know that under 3 are free, ds doesn't look anywhere near 3 (look in my siggy)!

Last year, on our last day we went to Earl of Sandwich to use our remaining TS credits. They told us we didn't have any credits remaining, and we KNEW we did. The place was a packed madhouse, so we just had them charge it to our room, and called CS when we were done. The girl at the register HAD rung up our TS credits, and then tried to run them a second time! (at which point, we had none) The whole thing was cleared up in a few minutes, not a big deal at all. Just watch your receipts and you'll be fine. The real crime was using TS credits for EoS. I know it's a board favorite, but I do not get what was so special? Plus, if you wanted chips or a cookie (side, desert?) you had to pay OOP, since "we don't include them here" It wasn't bad, but none of us were any more impressed with it than we are with the local sandwich shop down the street. :confused3

We went to Earl of Sandwich Monday night and used CS credits for it. We all got sandwiches, drinks (but no bottled water), and dessert. For dessert we could choose between cupcakes, cookies or brownies. The food was good, but Quizno's is just as good, in my opinion. But I don't get how you were charged table service for it? :confused3

Last year we also went to Earl of Sandwich and we weren't over charged however, they took our dessert and charged them as snack credits instead of just CS. They realized this and we had it fixed at the hotel no problem. I guess you still should glance at your receipt after every purchase just to make sure.

Oops! I should have said CS. Sorry! They would not give us as much as a bag of chips, let alone a cookie for dessert. They said they didn't include those there, (apparently they thought themselves above other CS places) and were actually pretty snotty about it.

I got overcharged twice. As long as you have your receipt, the front desk will fix it without a problem.

We had it happen once at Crystal Palace. My kids are tall for their age, and they assumed my DD, who was 2 at the time, was older.

I went right to the concierge desk at ASMo. when we returned to the resort that day, and the girl at the desk said it's fairly common, especially with toddlers. It took her about 30 seconds to fix.

Not a hassle at all! :)

We were over charged twice. Once a ice cream cart ran the card 3 times because he thought it didn't go through and once we were double charged for a dinner. The double charged dinner the restaurant was able to fix. The ice cream cart we had to deal with at our resort front desk. I wasn't real thrilled because we knew there was something wrong at the ice cream and he couldn't/wouldn't fix it and then at the front desk I felt like they didn't 100% believe me because only 2 of the 4 of us got ice creams (though 1 bought popcorn at the same time) and they were trying to tell me they charged us for ice cream for a 4 of just 2 and 2 and I kept having to say that we only actually got 2 ice creams and the other 2 shared a popcorn. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't fun either ;)

You should have been allowed a cookie for dessert. EoS doesn't offer "combos". Cash customers have to pay extra if they want chips so EoS doesn't have to offer them to DDP guests.

we've been on the ddp twice, for a total of 16 days, with anywhere from 4 to 8 people each day and have never had a problem... for all those that have had problems, i'd like to think there are hundreds that haven't... but of course, you'll only hear from those that have! ('cept me! LOL!)
