We were in WDW followed by a cruise-just got back last night. We were traveling with 10 families- 22 kids total. To give the adults a break, I scheduled a round of golf for the dads, spa treatments for the moms, and a private pirate cruise for the kids. While the men golfed, the moms went to check the kids in for the pirate cruise, and THEY FORGOT ABOUT IT! I called and confirmed all of this last week (prior to our trip) to make sure there would be no problem, and they assured me everything was all set up. Needless to say, we were some very angry women. Apparently, Drew (childrens programming at the GF) never bothered to tell anyone about the Pirate Cruise, and he had not been in to work all week. Women and children alike were miserable and we didn't know what to do. A cast member named Darin had to fill us in on the mistake that was made, and to put it mildly, we were less than pleasant to him. However, Darin went out of his way to call in CM's on their day off and we were able to have the Pirate cruise 3 hours later. He sent the Moms to lunch during the cruise and provided cabs for us to get back to our hotel quickly so we wouldn't miss our dinner reservations that night. Of course, our original plans were ruined, since we never got to the Spa and the dads were all done golfing by the time the kids started the Pirate Cruise, but Darin did the best he could under the circumstances and I wanted to write a letter to his superiors to let them know how much I appreciated his efforts. Who do I send my letter or email to?
