Outside Vendors

I was wondering how Disney works with outside vendors. What are the costs from Disney if I use outside floral and photography? I have heard such good things about Charming Events and Randy Chapman I am considering using them. What are ya'lls feelings using outside vendors or is Disney cost competative and great to work with? I just want to get the most for my money and it seems that Disney ends up a little high on the non-neccessaties, but stuff I would like to add. Thanks

Hello-
Im unsure about the costs of using outside vendors, we haven't gotten our BEO yet and our EM hasn't mentioned anything. While Disney can provide quality photography, we decided to use an outside photographer because the consistency of Disney's work didn't seem worth what they were charging. As for floral, we are required to use Disney floral for everything except personal floral because we are an "in-park event). We just got out floral proposal, and the prices are outrageous for some things. So, to end this rant: I would definitely look into outside vendors.. I have heard great things about both Randy and Charming Events. I have also heard wonderful things about Raining Roses, so if Charming Events doesn't work out, look into them! Research your vendors and make sure they will fit perfectly with you two, but I think using outside vendors will be worth your time,effort, and your money!
