(I have searched the boards, and haven't had any luck - so I'm hoping I'm not repeating a thread!) :confused3 I don't have my planner yet since they are finalizing my contract, so I haven't asked this yet - and didn't want to bug the crap out of the sales consultant, Kristi Davis.

I am looking to have an outside vendor do my videography - is this allowed at all for any parts of my wedding if my ceremony is at the Yacht Club, Reception in the Living Seas Salon in Epcot & Dessert Party in UK Epcot.

I am just a bit confused as to the whole rule of no outside vendors in the parks - would that still apply to my private venue in the Living Seas Salon?

I guess if I have to JUST have the videography for the ceremony that is okay, but I am HOPING I can have them at the reception at least.

Any feedback or info would be great! :hippie:

Unfortunately you can't have any outside vendors for in park events. This includes private rooms in Epcot. :sad2:

In this case you'd only be able to use your videographer for the ceremony. I think they are pretty strict with the outside vendor rule too, I haven't heard of any "exceptions". We chose to have all of our wedding events in non-park locations for that very reason.

Good luck with your planning!

that's what I thought - oh well! :) I have a back up videographer that's a friend that DFTW's said is allowed to set up a video camera. So, she's a great back up hehehe! But, I was hoping for Starfruit's creative touch for the whole thing...oh well!! I'll just have her (SF) do the ceremony

Thanks for the response!! :)
