Outside Photographers for engagement shoot

Hi. I was wondering if any of you guys know if it will be ok to use an outside photographer for an engagement shoot on disney property. Like at the boardwalk or around the grounds near the pavilion or at any of the hotels? And of so, do you need permission from disney or can you just show up for the photos one day.

Yup, you sure can! Just not in the parks. We did this with our photogs (David & Vicki Arndt) for our engagement shoot at POR, the GF and the Poly beach. I'm not sure about permission but I don't think you need any special permission for it.

You can use an outside photographer as long as nothing is inside the parks. So BW or near the WP or at any of the resorts would be fine. You don't need to let anyone know or get any special permission. I guess if you were going to take pics near the WP to be on the lookout for any weddings that might be going on at that time and just steer clear, which I'm sure you'd do anyway. There is a sign near Franck's that will have all the events listed for that day.

He takes beautiful photos. I have already booked a photographer but I dont know if he would come to orlando for the engagement shoot so thanks for the recommendations, I might be needing a photographer for it.

I just booked my Engagement Shoot with Randy Chapman for June 2 We are going to do it at Disney but not for sure where. He said he would come up with a few options. Anyone have any ideas?!!

We did our engagement photos with Randy last May. We did the Boardwalk and Port Orleans Riverside. We didn't even think about POR until Randy said that he loved to take photos there - and they came out great! The resort has a lot of great places to take photos.

I saw your pictures on The Arndt's Facebook page. I loved them, especially the ones at POR. We were suppose to do ours with David and Vicki in January, but it was so cold that day that I rebooked it with them. Ours is coming up and I'm so excited!
