Outside Golf Cart Vendors

The first time we went to Disney we considered staying in a cabin so I researched getting a golf cart from an outside vendor and having it delivered to FW...it was much cheaper than getting one from Disney. However, we got an awesome code rate and chose to stay at AKL.

Now, we're considering a cabin again. Is a golf cart necessary or a luxury for people in cabins? I've heard that it's a must because the cabins are so far away and it can take awhile to get on the bus to go to the station/launch to the parks.

I've also heard that Disney will no longer let other vendors deliver carts to FW. Is this correct? And if not and Disney does allow it, who should I use?

Here is the website I was told to go to for off property rentals. They can no longer deliver to you on propery and you must go and pick them up. If you are staying for an extended period of time, you might just want to purchase an old cart. That is what we did for our 9 day stay. Ebay works wonders.
