Outside Floral

I would love to hear anyone's opinions/suggestions/recommendations on outside floral. After reading about it a little I understand many have saved quite a bit compared to what Disney is charging.

As we wait for some brides to come along and share their stories, I can tell you that some of the vendors used by past brides are Lee Forrest, Greenery Productions, Peddles, Raining Roses, Petals By Design and Charming Events.

Bumping to see if anyone will chime in.

I sent a request for a quote out to Greenery Productions and Lee Forest. GP gave me quote almost 50% cheaper than Disney. LF gave me a quote that is closer to disney's prices.

I would like to know if everything ran smoothly with using an outside florist (ontime delivery, looked like what you wanted).

at first I was hesitant to use an outside vendor as I really don't need the added stress of dealing with multiple vendors but if I can save $500 I will probably do it.

I'm thinking about using outside floral for personal items as well, mainly because I don't like how Disney's bouquets look. I have one that I really like, but am afraid that the aspects I like most about it, won't be recreated. Please let us know who you end up going with and if you're happy with them.

I can't remember ever hearing anyone complain about the floral they got from an outside vendor. The process is quite seamless — these florists have done many Disney weddings, so they know where to go and what to do. You won't even have to think about it on the wedding day. And, unlike Disney, outside florists will create mockups for you, so you will know exactly what the product is going to look like.

We used Petals by Design Orlando and they really nailed it of us. Floral was very important to me and I knew exactly what I wanted. I wasn't at all disappointed!!!!

I used Lee Forrest and HIGHLY recommend them...it was such a comfortable and easy process with Lee and his team. I told them what I envisioned and they completely understood and surpassed what I ever thought I could afford..I used them for personal and reception floral...best decision I made...and an amazing savings from disney..I too worried about using an outside florist knowing it was one more thing I had to coordinate..however..there was no need to worry..they dropped off my personal floral and later arrived to do the reception...it was all perfect and professional.
