How can you follow WDW with three young boys? Take them to see Gators!!!
We loved Gatorland. Brett and Nate were awesome showmen who really try to educate you about all the animals while educating you. I guess for some folk it is as exciting as watching cows but we don't see the 'gators up in Canada!
I was "volunteered" for a show and had to have a king scorpion on my hand! No problem which surprised me as I used to have a phobia about bees. We had the Magic card which saved us 25%.
I think a half day there was ample to visit everything!
I understand the gators aren't lively in cool weather so no Jumps at the Jumparoo show. It sounds tacky but it isn't.
Kennedy Space centre is really marvelous but not with three canadian boys who could not really get into it. Good for families who know before they go or for adults with no young kids. The 3d imax film is terrific.
Our kids were bored after that. It is neat to see it on tv now but the tragedy makes us so sad.
On one cool afternoon we went to see Kangaroo Jack. I thought it would be soooo lame but we laughed our heads off!
I guess we were in the right mood for it. Great movie for kids no sex, bad lang or naughty stuff. Maybe a scuffle here with the bad guys but ok.
Our food choices were fine. On Martin Luther King weekend you couldn't get into any nice restaurants so on special holidays do book.
We loved the New York Chinese Buffet 23273 S. Apopka Vineland Drive. Route 535. See on Orlando board for details.
Avoid McDonald's .... very poor service. Loved Red Lobster, Denny's, Uno's, etc as they are so good with our kids.
Loved Landry's Seafood House esp the staff!
Our hotel was the Marriott SpringHIll suites on Vineland and the breakfast with room was a bargain! A fellow told us he got it for $53 US on expedia.com or travelocity ... I can't remember.
Anyway, we went and drove on the beach at Daytona;;;;coOOLLL!! the water was cold too. Dead jellyfish on beach grossed my kids out but that was cool too.
