Anyone seen any villas with outside bars/cooking areas. I really like the idea of this, but i've only been able to find 2 and the villas are not quite what I was looking for.

Not sure how complex you need the facilities to be or what sort of functions you intend to host, but for a small family,it might be just as easy to find a villa that fits all your other needs and buy a plastic cooler/icebox and a cheap/disposable barbeque unit from Walmart.

If you keep looking I'm sure you'll find the sort of facilities you're looking for, but I'll be pretty sure you end up paying a little extra for them.

If you decide to rent using a local property management company, I'm sure they would be able to find you something suitable pretty quickly.

I was under the impression that a couple of years ago the authorities banned outside BBQs due to the fire risk. The villas we have had lately have not had BBQs available and are not on the details sent by the owners

Grumpy John is right I think it had something to do with using bbq under the lanai, (did I spell that right), we were told that we could use one outside of the pool covering but not inside, we just cooked inside and ate outside!
