Sadly I had to vote other. Due to some neighborhood vandalism of lights, including ours, about 3 years ago we stopped putting up outdoor lights.

I live in a aparment on the second floor. No need to worry about vandlism. I was thinking of starting early this year since I have time off.

We put them up a week or so before Thanksgiving, but we don't turn the lights ON until the day after Thanksgiving :)

Right after Turkey Day! WooHoo can't wait!!!!!!
Inside Trees thru out the house, in each room, all themed differently, First of December.......
I start my Village set up earlier, it takes a while as it is a LARGE display, just LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!

Love the MAGICAL HOLIDAY season!!!!! :lovestruc

I usually do both indoor and outdoor decorating the night before Thanksgiving. At minimum, that's when the tree goes up. Not sure what's going to happen this year because my family might be spending Christmas at my parents' new condo in Windermere, FL. :goodvibes

i don't have any outdoor ones. i live in an apartment and i don't have a yard to put decorations in.

I voted Other because it depends on the weather. We put our up on the warmest day we can find closest to Thanksgiving. Sometimes that is in Nov, sometimes (but not usually) in Dec. They don't get turned on until after Thanksgiving though.

I'll put mine up the next chance I get... but I woon't turn them on until December 1st.

normally Thanksgiving weekend.

Dh is having laproscopic knee surgery, so we will get them up earlier and just not turn them on. He thinks he can do it after a week but I don't going up and down a ladder will be in his best interest!!!:sad2::confused3:lmao:

We put them up on a warm day in Novenber, but don't turn them on until we leave for Thanksgiving dinner.

I saw the cutest yard stuff atMichael's craft store.

The one I want is a snowman hanging from a HandGlider-reminded me of "Soarin"!!!:lmao:

Trying to figure out how to hang up high to really look like its flying

We always start (it takes up a few days!) the day after Thanksgiving but this year I am going to start soon. I don't want to be freezing my butt off outside! I will not turn them on though until the day after Thanksgiving though and I will not decorate the inside until the day after Thanksgiving.

I always start the day after Thanksgiving. I also may begin a little early this year, it is always so cold that last week in November. I will not turn lights on until the first of December

The extended forecast is for 60° on Saturday. I will probably string the lights if it is that warm on Saturday. They still won't get turned on until after Thanksgiving though.

We usually put our decorations (inside and outside) up the weekend after Thanksgiving. But this year I'm not sure we'll have time to get it all out that weekend, so I'm going to ask DH to put the outside lights up the weekend before Thanksgiving. I just won't turn them on until after Thanksgiving.
