Outside Catering??

Has anyone had a party or occasion catered in their room from a non-Disney caterer? If yes, please provide details. We are planning a private fuction for a 25th anniversary with just the family.

If you have used an on-site place we'd love to hear about that as well. TIA.

You may need to check with MS. I thought any catered parties need to be catered by Disney. Kind of like weddings on the Disney property.

Yes I believe they can . . . seem to remember my bro & family saying they got a delivery to SSR from pizzeria at Crossings shopping plaza. Will try to post back for certain on this.

You can probably get some good ideas/suggestions on in-room catering, etc. over on the Weddings/Honeymoon board; lots of people with good suggestions on how to celebrate not just weddings but anniversaries, etc.

and maybe take a look at mousesavers.com also; they have info on weddings at Disney and I seem to remember info there on how to arrange a special dinner ( not necessarily for a wedding ) through Disney catering.
