Outside Bars!

Hi All,

Does anyone know of any "nice" outside bar/ lounge (well nice seating areas. which stay open into the evening in disney world? We are travelling from the UK and dont get to sit out in the evning much and soo would really appreciate it when we come to Florida. All ideas very much appreciated!!!

Raglan Road has a huge outdoor bar area, but being British it might not be all that interesting to you - unless you're looking for something like home.

They have outdoor bar kiosks at DTD and the PI area but there isn't much going on around there these days.

There's an outdoor bar at Disney's Hollywood Studios next to the Studio Catering Company. The drinks are not at all bad!

All the resorts have pool bars. Some are nicer than others and some are open later than others.

Coranado springs has a nice outdoor bar right outside of the food court and its not next to a pool so its usually very relaxing

I knew they sold alcohol at the Studio catering company but I didnt noticed a bar there ? Did we miss it ?

But +1 on the outdoor patio at Raglan Road. In the early evening around 4PM they have happy hour as well.

All resort pools have outdoor bars. That might give you some incentive to visit other resorts (taking Disney transportation if you've had too much, of course). Most of the time, you can take your drinks away from the bar and sit by the pool. I know we did this at the Swan/Dolphin pool and had a great time.

You can also stop by the Big River Grille and sit outside there - they have a full bar.

"Your" Pavilion,United Kingdom,in Epcot's World Showcase has a nice Pub at the Rose and Crown Restaurant.

There are several tables outdoors in that area where you could take your beverage from the Pub and sit.

Thanks for everyones thoughts... Deffo trying not to do the "UK" type thing..

We've been to All-Star movies / AKL / Port Orleans / Saratogo Springs and Carribean beach resort bars on previous visits.. Are any others worth recommending for a large get together (of Girls) that also serve food. ?

I think most all of the counter service places in Epcot also serve drinks, and two of them (Canada and Morocco) also have live bands that play on a regular schedule. The times should be posted near the stage in each pavilion. Have fun!

Downtown Disney has a couple of bars with seating outside along the walking path. Down towards the La Nouba area on the right I know there is one. I was too drunk at the time to remember the name, though

We are a big fan of the bar at Coranado Springs. It has comfy chairs and a tropical setting. It is not in the middle of a park so it's quiet.

Grand Floridian. Upstairs next to the bar there is a small area you can go out and watch the Electric Parade. If I remember right you can take a drink out near the gazebo that has tables set up to sit.

The Poly has the same set up.
