Does anyone know if there are outlets near the bed? My Father has medical equipment that he sleeps with. Or do I need a really long extension cord?
Thanks for any info! Angel

Pretty sure that you need to take an extension cord... there are no outlets accesible by the bed....

I too sleep with a breathing machine. The only outlet is on the vanity. We obtained an extension cord from guest services, but you can bring your own also.

The only outlets close to the bed are taken up by the lamps. You will either need an extension cord from the vanity, or the one near the small chest of drawers. Have a great time!

The outlets for the bedside lamps are behind the bed, not right under the nightstands. The outlets are grounded European style outlets. The voltage is approx. 240 V -- approx. double that which most U.S. consumer appliances use.

The outlets by the TV are regular US-style, 110V grounded outlets.

Some medical devices, such as some CPAPs, are designed to allow use with 110V or 240V power. In that case, you just need an adapter, the strength to back the bed away from the wall, and a willingness to do without light from the bedside lamp (unless you have a European style power strip).

Update: I edited the text above to indicate "grounded European style outlets" -- not "grounded UK style outlets." The outlets accept the round prong plugs that you'll find in France and Germany, not the heavy rectagular prongs that you'll find in the UK and Ireland.

My husband has a CPAP and we did not realize that the outlets by the bed were the European style. After seeing if the hose/cord combination was long enough to stretch, we decided to call guest services to ask. We got an extension cord from them within 20 minutes (during move-in!) and they even apologized for how long it took!! We did have to pay a $20 deposit, but that was returned upon handing the cord back in.

15 feet will be more than enough. My DH has a CPAP and we took a surge protector with a 10-foot cord with us. It worked great. Also, his machine fit nicely in the bedside table shelf. I tucked everything away each morning so our steward wouldn't have to deal with it in the way.
Have a great trip! Ship sleep is some of the best you will ever have! I loved the rocking and can't wait to get back!
