Hi all!
We were originally hoping for an AK ceremony and reception, but after crunching the numbers we've decided to switch to a morning EPCOT wedding. Our tentative date is the third week of July 2018 and we're pretty set on Living Seas Salon for our reception.

However, I have a dilemma: I want to do the ceremony at Italy Isola, but... July! The heat! The possibility of rain! These stress me out. We're both okay with the American Adventure Rotunda for a ceremony as well, but it's a bit more opulent than what I was hoping for - Italy is WAY more in the vain of what we both want.

Has anyone had a morning ceremony in July outside at EPCOT? Was the heat bearable for the short ceremony? I know it's early, but it's also Florida. I don't mind it being in, say, the 80's, but is it likely to be a lot warmer than that?

I think you'll be OK because your ceremony starts so early and the rain during hurricane season usually happens in the afternoon. Plus, if you're OK with AAR, then being moved there if it does rain won't be such a big deal. You might even ask if you could move your ceremony up to 8am instead of 9am so that it will be even cooler.

Just know that you will be required to charter a motor coach to get your guests to the ceremony and from Italy to Living Seas. So you're looking at spending at least $550 (unless your group is less than 25) and probably more like $800 if you want the bus to take everyone back to their resorts after the event.

Ooooh that's interesting- I didn't think AAR was considered a backup venue but if that's the case, I feel a lot better - definitely will ask my sales consultant about it!

Right now we're maxing out at 25 people in addition to us and we might have as few as 20. Will we need a motor coach then? I was planning on vans or some other small form of transport between my event and the resorts. Will we need transportation from World Showcase to Living Seas with so few guests?

OK, good. With fewer people you can either get a mini bus or take multiple vans. I would provide transport from Italy to Living Seas because it's a .7 mile walk in the heat of summer.
