Outdoor Kitchens' Popularity @ Flower & Garden

Why do you think the Outdoor Kitchens at Flower & Garden aren't slammed like the Food & Wine booths are?

During my trip,sometimes they would have lines,but often there would be nobody in line.

Disney was even making a special announcement after each Flower Power Concert-"Just a reminder,there are 11 Outdoor Kitchens around World Showcase....".

I just hope they don't go away-I LOVE them and used them just as much as if I were at Food & Wine.

We were just there this weekend. I think it has to do with the different atmosphere of the 2 events; the headliner of Food and Wine is... the food and alcohol. People, esp. 21 to 35 year old's, seemingly mark it down on the calendar to go over indulge, esp. on the alcohol. Flower and Garden seems to be more leisurely, and to appeal to a different personality type.

Just my guess (along with time of year). I love the food booths, and both festivals. I too hope they keep the food at F&G.

I agree with the PP on the perception of the FOOD & Wine Festival versus the Flower and Garden Festival. Food is expected to be served at the former, not at the latter.

That being said, we've been to both and found the booths at the Flower & Garden Festival not as good as the ones at the Food and Wine Festival. We enjoyed the ones we tried at the Flower and Garden Festival but if I went for different booths with better offerings for my husband and I, I'd go for the Food & Wines Festival.

Then again - the Flower & Garden Festival has only had food booths for two years. Those have a long time to go to catch up to the length and experience of the Food & Wine Festival. I predict that will come in time. Also, the Flower & Garden Festival is more about the environment and how to grow and preserve it so offerings are quite different from the Food & Wine Festival.

I'd suggest asking this question in five years.
