Planning a resort only trip in Early March. We are both front line healthcare workers who will have been fully vaccinated. Having said that can you recommend any good dinner options that might have outside seating.

We have seen the worst and are still a little skittish about eating in doors.

Open to cuisine, and price . any suggestions for Disney Springs

Regarding the table service restaurants on this list, can you specify outdoor dining on your reservation? If the weather is nice I like to eat outside covid or no covid!

If you book on Opentable (most DS spots are there), you can often request it but Disney does not have that option.

We always just ask when checking in and are prepared to wait.

Missed this thread the first time through - was about to start a new one when I did a title search and found it.

We're going down the first week of May (actually arriving on 4/30). My in-laws are coming with us so we're going to have 6 people (4 adults, 2 kids). We have not eaten out at a restaurant pretty much since last February, other than at WDW in August, and then we ate outdoors except for Whispering Canyon (probably not very scientific by any means, but the set up of the restaurant open to the giant lobby is almost like outdoors as far as airflow😗).

My wife and in-laws will both be vaccinated (wife got her 2nd shot Monday), but it's looking unlikely that I will even be able to get my first shot by then, and obviously the kids won't be. So I think we're going to try to keep it to outdoor dining for the most part (still probably going to use that likely-flawed Whispering Canyon rationale since we're staying at Copper Creek).

Does anyone have any restaurants missing from that Disney Food Blog list? I know there's also the Three Bridges Restaurant at Coronado Springs. Any experiences with the outdoor dining at any of these?

Especially, does anyone know about any of these as far as table size? I'm sure some of them don't accommodate a party of 6.

Since the day we arrive is my mother-in-law's 70th birthday, she's going to want to do a special dinner that night. She and my wife talked about Cinderella's Royal Table, which I'm rather "meh" on, plus now that the next phase here in Delaware (Phase 1C- which I'm in) is pushed back indefinitely from the previous goal of March and now certainly won't be fully vaccinated and unlikely to even get first shot, I'd rather push to outdoor dining.

For Magic Kingdom, obviously that's only Tony's Town Square. I'm trying to point out that this could be a special dinner having a view of Town Square like that. Does anyone know how hard it is to get the outside tables. Also, will they be able to seat 6 of us outside?

Heads-up: We had a reservation to eat at Tony's twice last week and cancelled both reservations because the restaurant was not offering outdoor seating. Even though it wasn't raining, there was a possibility of wind, which may cause them to close the promenade seating area.
*Also, we loved eating outdoors in the American Pavilion because you can also hear the great musical performances happening on stage at the Americans Garden Theatre.

We are headed to WDW in 2 days
Booked paddlefish
Maramisa asia
Topolonis

I had to call Asia and paddlefish directly as you cannot request out door dining on line

for topolinons I had to call Disney dining and request and out door table
They put it down but made no guarantee

will update after we return

Topolino's does not have outdoor dining :(

OP, Big River just reopened and they have limited outdoor seating but you'll want to request it on Open Table when you make the reservation. GF Cafe is not on that list but they have been seating people outside each time we've eaten there in recent months. Beaches and Cream also has seated people outdoors but it seems to be hit and miss with just a couple tables even available.

Thanks for the heads-up on Tony's - that's really good to know. It may be something then to not rely at all on that for her birthday but maybe consider for another day when we can just as easily pivot to a quick service option.

Thanks for the info - that's particularly interesting about GF Cafe, since we'll be staying at Copper Creek (and may be driving down so would have a car) - that's an easy one to get to. I'll have to look at the menu again. I was already considering a trip over there to maybe get a drink at the Enchanted Rose (think that's the right name) since I believe they have outdoor seating. Maybe that could be a good combination if they are indeed seating people outside at GF Cafe.
