Is it me or is the airline baggage chart way out of date? It's from June 2008! Any way to get a new updated one?

And this is exactly why many of us warn readers never to trust anything posted here as fact, even what we ourselves post. Many of us refer to and/or link official sources such as airline websites, TSA, CATSA for the most accurate and most up to date information.

Things change and information is not always updated. Best to always contact the source directly

The feeschange so often lately I ahve taken to printing out the current policy from the airline website on the day I purchase tickets. Airlines nearly always honor the policy which was in place when you purchase, if you can remember what it was. My memory is not so great, thus the print out.
I recomend always checking the current policy on the airline's website on the day you buy before purchasing.

Always, always check each airlines official website in order to get the most up to date info. I can't imagine you're going to have much luck, standing at the Delta counter, trying to tell them that the DIS boards gave different info than Delta, so you don't feel you should be penelized.
The airline sites are where you really need to go for the final word. In this day and age, it's very difficult to keep up with the day to day changes being made.

The chart has been updated. You might want to edit your title. The best advice is to always check with your airline. There is now a link to the airlines baggage page in the chart.

OP -- Even if someone said the chart was updated today I'd not trust it. My suggestion would be to go to the airline directly; that is the only way to guarantee the information is correct.

Any chart online should be used as a guide. Then, you can verify at the airline site. But it sure is a lot easier to start where all the info is gathered together for you.
