OK, My DS is really into hard rock...and I am so out of touch. Can anyone tell me what the really hard Rock bands are right now?
I recommend Coheed and Cambria. They are a progressive rock type band. They popped up on my radar a little more than a year ago when I had a student tell me to listen to them. Now they are practically all I listen to at home or in my truck.
Disturbed, Seether, Hinder, Linkin Park, Nickelback, Trapt, Saliva.
Linkin Park, AFI, Green Day, 30 Seconds to Mars, Kings of Leon, Offspring, Foo Fighters and almost anything on a Twilight soundtrack.
Cold Play? Is Daughtery consider Rock?
Another that my son likes is Rammstein, German band, very heavy.
Depending on your sons age, you may want to take a listen to Rammstein yourself. I do like them, but they have a new song that is extremely graphic and may not be suitable for all ages. The name starts with a P, ends with a Y, and has two S's in the middle (another name for kitty). The video they shot for this song is an actual REAL porno. I actually find the lyrics quite comical, but some may not (and they were not intended to be by the band).
Linkin Park, AFI, Green Day, 30 Seconds to Mars, Kings of Leon, Offspring, Foo Fighters and almost anything on a Twilight soundtrack.
I like Nickelback and all, but dont think most would consider them "hard rock or heavy metal"
Linkin Park maybe.....depends on the person in question.
Someone else said Green Day, and I'd also say no way to them as well. They are alternative, but that doesnt make them hard rock.
