I have used up all my points and transfer points seem pretty rare... So I am now considering All Star Movies (great new review on DisUnplugged today) and Pop.

I have really bad anxiety when I travel with just my daughter, which of these feels less chaotic?

I'm out of points too so I booked Pop and requested a refurbished room. My last stay at Pop I hated the bed and the room was really run down so I'm hoping it will be better this time.

I'd go with Pop and request a refurbished room.

I don't know when you plan to go but Movies is going through a room refurbishment now. Movies is my favorite resort but doesn't qualify for the free dining discount so we don't stay there as much as we'd like.

If you have anxiety I would not do a value resort with exterior entrance to my room.

I'm always out of points!!!! I usually stay at either Pop or Movies when that happens. Just returned from a short stay at Movies..it was fine. I have no issue with the outside doors....stuff happens with interior hallways too!! Just lock and bolt the door when you're in the room.
I would say they are about the same as far as business goes. Youngsters might prefer Movies for the colorful icons.

When are you going? Is renting points an option?
Mid August for 3 nights. I could but that would be around $1000. I just don't know if I want to spend that much. We are also heading over to Universal and staying at Portofino so already spending a ton on that room.

How old is your daughter? ASMovies is our preferred value (dd is now 21)! While it can be chaotic, that's mostly in the food court, and that will be the norm at any resort. As for busses, I've found that the All Stars often (end of the evening) send three separate busses to three different pick-up locations, so the lines are a LOT shorter than the crowds waiting for Pop or AoA stops. I usually request a top floor room (so there's not one jumping off beds above me).

I would go with Movies! The theming can't be beat and with 1,000 fewer rooms than Pop, the general noise at chaos at the food court is less. Also, the rates at Pop have been dramatically increased, and IMHO it isn't worth the close-to-$200/night. At either resort, be sure to request TOP floor landscape view for the quietest experience.

She is 11. We are mainly going for AK and Toy Story at HS.

Do you or can you request a certain building at Movies?

You can request, but that doesn't mean it will be honored. Some of the buildings are 'preferred' at a higher nightly cost, but they are closer to the main building.
