Here's the highlights of our latest WDW vacation. There were so many great memories. I didn't do an official trip report, but this video gives a good synopsis of our vacation.

Cast -- Jon (33), DH, a real trouper and puts up with my need for matching T-shirts and obsessive planning.

DD -- Gracie 3 years (3 3/4 according to her). Loves Disney almost as much as I do. WDW had me hooked the moment I saw the look of sheer joy on her face when she was 15 months old during the opening ceremony at MK. That was the most expensive free work conference I've ever been on. It's resulted in 4 more trips back to WDW in the last 3 years.

Me -- Elizabeth (35). This is our 3rd TGM trip. I'm the obsessive planner, resort switcher, ADR changer, t-shirt preparer of the family who often has to remind herself that WDW is about having fun, not winning, succeeding or seeing how many FP's one family can collect before noon.

My sister, Lesley (30). This was Lesley's very 1st trip to Walt Disney World. She and her family only joined us for 4 nights/3 park days of our 9 night trip. I hope this was a great introduction to WDW for her. She was sad to leave and afterwards realized 4 nights is just not enough time! I think I've got her HOOKED!

Niece, Ella (2 1/2). This was also her 1st trip. She was a little hesitant of the head characters, i.e. Mickey, Minnie, etc. She wanted to see them, but only from a safe distance. But she absolutely LOVED seeing the princesses. She was so funny that at the end of each ride, she would declare, "We made it." I think she sometimes really believed we may not make it out of those rides. She enjoyed them, but was genuinely relieved that we survived each one.

Brother-in-law, Matt (33). Hasn't been to WDW since he was a child. He would not partake in our matching t-shirts b/c he doesn't like to be the center of attention. Boy was that a mistake. Almost every CM we passed asked him why he didn't have on the requisite family t-shirt, effectively making him more the center of attention than if he would have just worn the shirt.

Special appearances:

Our friends, Jen, Dave and Savina. Jen and Dave are law school friends from Philly who just happened to be at WDW the same time as us. We met up for an MK morning and an illuminations cruise.

The Aucoin girls. How did I not get a picture of their mom and dad? Their mom and dad grew up with my husband in Brazoria, TX. They also happened to be at WDW the same time we were. We met up with them one night in Epcot to hear the Beatles cover bad in the UK and dancing in the street.

Never underestimate the Magic of Disney. The night we met up with the Aucoin family, I lost my brand new waterproof video camera. I couldn't believe I didn't have it when we returned to the hotel room. I couldn't care less about the camera, but I had not downloaded the videos for the last 2 days of our vacation. I was devasted and so mad at myself for not being more careful. Jon went back to Epcot the next day, and low and behold, it was turned in to lost and found.

I hope each of you enjoy your upcoming vacations as much as we enjoyed this one. We had already decided on the "Celebration" song for our video before we left. But upon return, I thought maybe we should have chosen "Hot, Hot Hot." The temps were in the 90's every day! I wasn't expecting it to be quite that hot at the end of April/beginning of May.

Ole, Ole!
