Wow! What a GREAT MK day! You guys got a ton done! How sweet that your DS wanted to ride Dumbo...did he go through a stage where he refused because he thought it was a "baby ride"? I dread that stage.

I resisted watching the videos because I've never seen the whole show (I've made myself stop watching videos on it before!), we have never made a RD, and this trip we are planning to for MK - I REALLY want to see the show!!!

I hope you get to see Princess Tiana!

Sounds like you had a great morning at the MK. I've never seen Chip & Dale in their futuristic outfits, that's very cool that you saw them like that!

The Plaza seems like a nice place for lunch, I like that you can make an ADR and not have to mess with the crowds to find a table. I'll have to put it on the list for next time

While we were riding I noticed Chip and Dale in their future attire so when we exited we headed over there to see them.

I have read countless TRs and really thought I had seen it all as far as WDW goes, but you have pulled a surprise out of your hat! I have never seen this before!!!! I had no idea that C&D had special future wear! Very cute!

Your top of the hill picture is very cool! It did make me feel for a brief moment though! But it was very nice to see the pictures of SM since I will never be riding it again!

Loved the video. We've never made it for rope drop at ANY park, so that was neat to see. Too bad about Tiana. Hope you got to see her next time!

I haven't been on the boards for the last few days since I have had a computer malfunction and am currently sharing my husband's computer, but I was happy to get on and see that I had only missed one update! It looks like you had a great morning at MK. I can't wait to see the opening show-NEXT WEEK!

I love getting there early and getting so much done. We've always spent two days at MK and getting so much done the first day leaves that 2nd day to revisit faves and do some other things!

Yes, Ben went through a phase about riding Dumbo. He pouted the whole time one year so last summer I didn't even ask him. Then, at spring break, he was waiting for me and Ellie and the CM offered to let him in through the exit to take an empty Dumbo (who knew it could even happen-empty Dumbo??). He came on in and rode but I figured it was a fluke. So, I was all warm and fuzzy when he actually wanted to ride this time.

I don't blame you for not watching the video. I so hope you get there and see it this time. You won't be disappointed!!

Glad you liked the video! Wasn't the best and I had to stop so we could move up and get ready to head into the park but it captures the excitement, I think!

The Plaza was a good meal. It's small in there but they are refurbing so perhaps there will be more seats. It's definitely worth a try!

I know! I had never seen them dressed like that either! When I spotted them from the TTA I told Ellie we just HAD to go over there! They were by that stage where the short lived Stitch show was so maybe that's why they gave them new outfits!

I know you're not rope drop folks but maybe, just maybe, you could get to MK just once and see the show. Although we do rope drop just about every day, that's the only show I would be sad to miss.

Just wanted to let you all know that we are headed to the beach tomorrow! For the first few days we are staying in a time share so I'll be without a computer. On Saturday we'll be moving to a rental house and I should be up and running. I hope to get a few updates done while I'm there being lazy!
Once we come back home I only have a few days before I return to work!

My new Droid will make it super easy to post pictures and updates to Facebook, so I hope you will follow along. I can't believe I go next week! We are all so excited.

I have actually never ridden Splash Mountain. I am hoping to get on it this time. On our last two family trips Jason took the older girls while I did other things with Johanna. I think she is tall enough this time, but I really don't think she'll want to go on it. She has ridden the flume ride at Busch Gardens one time and won't go on it again, so I don't have high hopes. My sister and I just never got on it last year, and in 2008 when we were there it was only 46 degrees so we skipped it.

Space Mountain-yuck.

It is not a big deal about the check. I just wanted to make sure you got it since it hadn't cleared yet. I really appreciate you picking up that CD for me, and I didn't want you to think I was rude and not paying for it.

The new job is great so far! I'll keep you posted.

What a great start to your trip! You certainly got a lot in. I'm hesitant to try EMH thinking the parks will be too crowded by noon but maybe we'll give it a try. Chip and Dale in Future world - what a fun surpise. The photo of you and Ellie is cute. I really like your t-shirt.

Hi everyone! I am back from the beach and scurrying around trying to get caught up with everything!! Today is my last day off!! Boo!
I'm hoping to get an update up tonight but if not then definitely this weekend. Gotta get moving on this report. Tomorrow is Ellie's birthday so I'm making her cake tonight. She's going to lunch and the movies tomorrow with my mil and then we'll all go to dinner after work.

I also hope to get some beach pictures loaded up soon. John is compiling his, mine, and his sister's and then I can put them on photobucket.
