I should have read ahead! Yes, a Hummer. The tank is 22-25 gallons or so and they recommend regular gas. Regular gas around here is $1.80 lately. Premium is $2.04.

I WISH I could get 18 mpg...

I paid over $48 to fill up my Expedition yesterday... I use regular grade (87 octane), and it was a whopping $1.90!!!

I have to fill up about every 6 days. DH also drives one of these (he inherited my old truck when I bought a newer one!) I don't even want to try to calculate what we pay for gas each month!

I'm glad I don't still have my Suburban. That puppy got about the same mileage that I get now, but it had a 42 gallon gas tank. You're sitting at the pump for a LONG time when you're filling that baby up... and a fill up would be running about $80 now!

The recent gas price increases are REALLY getting my attention!

It's sad that it cost over $30 to fill my Camry. I have forbidden DH to drive his Tundra (V8) to WDW on Sunday, and insisted we drive my car. He looks at me like and asks whether I would like to bike or walk to work, if I am going to get all upset over the prices. ROFL He has a point, it's out of my control (and I have a feeling the Tundra will be going to Epcot ).

Our Yukon XL gets 17 mpg in town and 18 on highway w/ air going. It cost me about $50.00 to fill up and it lasts a little over a week. I live in a N. Dallas suburb and work in almost downtown Dallas, about a 28 mile commute each way.
I was driving a Toyota Corolla until 2 months ago when someone run into me turing my Corolla into an accordian. Bad timing for gas prices to be so high.

My Suburban is now on "E"........I was hoping the price would come down!! LOL!!! So, later on today I will be heading to the gas station where it is 2.02 a gallon!!! Looking at close to $100. to fill it.......................
