DH and I alway joked about, it's a good thing we do not fill our cars with gallons of milk. Well now I guess we are eating our words, i would rather fill the car with gallons of milk, considering how expensive gas is. We have a mazda 626 and it cost 27 to fill that sucker up. I would rather walk to work, but that would not be good for my uniform.

Once upon a time we owned a small car. An Austin I believe. It cost $3.50 to fill it with gas. We went and got a gas credit card ( almost a new fangled thing in those days ) because we found we were taking $5.00 out of the bank, filling up with gas, and just blowing the change.

our suburban gets about 12 mpg.....and just cost 95.00 to fill up!!!!!! Our other vehicle is a Dodge Ram Quad cab......with a 350.....will have to get a part time job just to afford the gas!!!

my suburban getting about 12,,but then its stored waiting on me to be able to drive it,, we are driving the blazer,, its about 26 to fill up, and gets around 23 mpg,,, scared to fill suburban,, it has the travel tank,, and the last time we had it out dw bought 25 in gas,, almost put a 1/4 tank in it

For some reason I never wanted a gas credit card (even when I worked for an oil company many, many years ago). I remember making sure that I had a $5 bill in my purse so I could fill up.

I have a 4 cyl. Honda Odyssey and it's not too bad. I filled it up for just a little over $20 but gas is $1.78 here (today). It was 5 cents more about 10 days ago.

Think our suburban has a 48 gal tank. The thing that stinks is DH drives about 65 miles a day total to and from work!!!!

Our Malibu costs us about 35 bucks to fill it here in Canada and that is a 52 litre tank

if thats still under warranty bring it back someone put a GM engine in your dodge.....


My Envoy gets 21.5 per gallon- I wont let it go under 1/2 tank now, that way it doesnt seem to bad when I fill it.

My K5 Blazer, gets about 5 mpg- with the lift and oversized (35's) tires on it it costs me close to 100 bucks to fill it's 42gallon tank. GOOD thing I wont go through that tank till about september

The Duramax being a diesel gets about 22 mpg, and diesel right now is about 50 cents less per gallon than gas here, so it's CHEAP to run the Crew Cab!...

DH says when the lease is up June 2005.....he want to switch to a GM or Ford....

DH's H-2 gets 12 miles to the gallon and costs $50 to fill it up. His old Bronco got 10 miles to the gallon so the H-2 is more economic. Just wanted to do our part in saving the fossil fuels. LOL!

How much is gas where you live? It only costs $60 to fill up my Suburban.

A Hummer? And only $50 to fill it? I need that kind of gas, LOL. I thought they had to have like 30 or 40 gallon tanks. Our gas here in Chicago area today is running about $2.20, $2.30, $2.45.

It was 2.15 here. DH tends to run the cars WAY down to empty....

Today I saw 2.20 for reg unleaded.....

We camp alot in the summer with the Suburban pulling our 10000 pound camper......think of that gas mileage then!!!! Not looking forward to it at all!!!!!!!
