We stayed at WLV 11/24-11/29. The resort was very nice especially with the Christmas decorations. The crowds were light until Wednesday afternoon; it seemed like the flood gates opened. My only disappointment was Tuesday on the bus the driver was talking about eride, before we got off I asked him about it. I was told the hours were from 9 p.m. until midnight. So we went to the front desk and were told the same thing. Problem was we had a surprise birthday Illuminations cruise for my wife at 8:30p.m. So we figured we could get to the MK by 10p.m. and have 2 hours for the eride.
Ok, so it was around 2p.m. we got the tickets and decided to relax for awhile. We took the boat from WLV to the MK to catch a bus to the Beach Club. During the boat ride they talked about eride and said the hours were from 8-11, I took a deep breath and asked the CM and he confirmed it. After getting off the boat I went right to Guest Relations and asked for the times, was told 8-11 so I told them what happened and our plans. He was very nice and helpful and said he could refund the amount; we hung on to the tickets for now. My wife didnt understand why I was upset. Anyway we get to the dock and meet Scott our Captain, he takes us to the boat and I tell my wife Happy Birthday, she was very surprised. Scott did an outstanding job and had us laughing all night. We got off the boat at 9:30p.m. and decided to take the bus to MK, got there at 10:10p.m. We looked at each other and said lets go. In 45mins we did Buz once and Space Mountain 4 times. By that time they closed the rides at 11 on the dot. We grabbed a hot dog and fries and took our time walking down Main Street and enjoying not bumping into anyone. We left the park at 12 and all agreed it was worth it. So the night turned out ok. Sorry for rambling. Besides that we had a wonderful trip.
