Our trip to our "Happy place" w/ pics & videos!!*new 7/7!!*Last day Magic Kingdom**

Thanks for the updates. I love the picture of the Yeti (and the hair of the guy in front of you:scared1: :lmao: ) I am going to have to remember about getting a pic looking back on this ride. It looks like you got almost everyone in it. Also the redneck pics.

I need a place to write all this down:rotfl:

I love the drums at AK. It is so much fun to watch the kids bang out some frustration or fun. I love that you filled up your own raft on Kali. It looked like a bunch of fun. And I totally love the pictures on EE, the way that everyone put their heads in for the pic!

Amy what a great day love the photo of the kids after the rapids all soaking wet :rotfl2: Love how Rae grabbed a lift on the ECV :thumbsup2

I also loved the photo on the ride with everyone's heads in! Keep em coming! :thumbsup2

Hmm..what luggage place?? Let me know and I will try to figure out if it was him. That would be soo cool.:cool1:

It was at the end of the path from the 50s buildings, right by the luggage assistance... before 9am on Sept 1st... I mentioned how much bigger his basket was than my small one... (of course he had the heavy duty one and we had the basic ones)....would be cool if it was GP that I was talking to.

Animal Knigdom[/U

Toward the end of the show one of the performers sat next to Rachel and asked her to play a game with her.She wanted her to be in the parade, but Rachel didn't want to.The Disneycrazed mama wanted to just throw her out there, didn't she know what kind of oppurtunity this was!:scared1: But don't worry I just gave her a hug and told her not to worry about it.:goodvibes
cont in next post...or the one after that..I have to take the kids to church

:rotfl2: If that were me I probably would have thrown her out there, you have to take those opportunities when you can get them ;)

We left Lion King stopped for a potty break and a little shopping. Is my family the only one that has to stop at every little stand that is filled with loot?!:headache: It was a fight I would never win so I just patiently waited..:bored:

Again, I just find this extremely funny :rotfl: because I know my family is going to be the same way! :goodvibes

Great installment Amy! :thumbsup2
Your TR just keeps getting better! :) Love all the pics, especially the ride one!

Animal Kingdom

We came out of Everest to find that GP and Rachel had returned from getting water.:moped: Amy and her family left to get some food and we decided to get to Nemo early for the next show.:fish: I was pushing Rachel in the stroller and the older kids were walking in front of me chattering about EE.:chat: I turned to check on GM and GP just in time to see her stumble and walk right in front of the ECV.:scared1: It hit her and she fell hard to the ground.:sad1: At first she just lay there in obvious pain and after a couple of minutes I got her to a bench with the help of a nice woman who saw what had happened.

You may remember in the introduction to our cast that GP and GM had been in an accident.Well GM’s right anke had been crushed and put back together with a lot of hardware. This is where the ECV hit, right into that ankle.:sad2: Within just a few minutes it began to swell.GM is stubborn and decided we needed to move on to Nemo. After a few steps it became apparent that she couldn’t walk and GP got off of the ECV and GM got onto it.We slowly made our way toward Nemo but I knew I had to get a wheelchair.GP can only do short distances so he would need his ECV back pretty quickly. We got to
Nemo and the line stretched almost all the way to Dinoland. This was 30 min prior to the start of the show.We only had a few minutes wait and we were let into the theater. We had good seats in the first row of the second level and people were let in until right before the show began.

Rachel got sunscreen in her eyes and was whining that she was hungry so I let her call her daddy to give her something to do.After her phone call I gave her a wipe and that kept her busy for a good ten minutes.:thumbsup2 The other two were happy people watching and resting.:goodvibes

The show started and I have to say it was pretty but I had a hard time getting into it.:confused3 Ten minutes into the show Rebekah started saying she needed to use the restroom.Like a good mama I told her to hold it.She was quiet for a few minutes but then started to cry that she was going to wet her pants.:scared: I whispered to GM what was going on and we headed to the exit.A CM said something about rain but we didn’t stop to talk.I opened the door and it wasn’t raining but storming.:scared1: I could barely see in front of me it was raining so hard.I grabbed Bekah’s hand and ran in the direction I thought the bathroom might be.I found the bathroom and there were people huddled in the entryway. She used the restroom and then we joined the rest to wait on the show to end.:hourglass I can’t remember how long we waited but it didn’t seem like a long time. The rain slowed to a drizzle as people came out of the show.I called GP and told him I was going to find my now very wet stroller :guilty: and would meet them by his wet ECV.

I found the stroller,it had been moved, and inspected the damage.Rebekah and Peyton’s autograph books were fine in their ziploc bags but Rachel’s must have not been sealed completely because it was soaked.:sad1: I had made these books and it had all of her autographs from the day before in it.GP called and he and GM made their way to me in the crowd .I had to get GM off that ECV as soon as possible before she hurt someone!:scared: Rachel saw her ruined book and started sobbing. We discussed calling it a day and returning to the hotel for some rest.Peyton got upset and started begging to stay.It was almost 2:00pm and I knew we all needed food to make a rational decision.I told them to stay where they were and I went to get a wheelchair, there is no way GP could walk all the way to Pizzafari.BTW,wheelchair rental costs $8 a day.

Here is a pic of what GM's ankle looked like after about thirty minutes. The next day it was much more swollen and purple and extremely bruised. The bruising eventually went all the way to the knee.:sad1:
(BTW,GM doesn't usually wear purple crocs:rotfl2: her foot was swelling so much we had to get her shoe off)

Will we leave AK and go back to the hotel? Will GM go to the hospital to see what damage has been done??

oh, poor GM!!!! i feel so bad for her. i'm glad you're there to take care of everyone. what would they do without you??? ;)

OUCH!!!!!

that looks painful. AK does not seem to be going so good. I think you stay and try to make the best of it.
or u go back to hotel.

Ohh, you're poor GM! :sad2: That's awful...I really hope she was ok. That ankle looks really painful but it sounds like your GM is a real trooper!

And Rachel....She must have been so upset, and you too, since you had made the autograph books... I hope this day got better for all of you

Oh, no. :sad2: Not shaping up to be a dream day in Disney...

I hope GM wasn't too injured.
