about rachel's meltdown, maybe she has a thing with crowded, small places? plus i think the thing with kids at WDW is they are SO emotional and SO overwhelmed and excited, that when something doesn't go their way, their little minds can't handle it and they go into panic mode. we don't have kids, but i saw plenty of meltdowns while we were at WDW in may and the more i thought about it this way, the more it made sense. i mean, i know how excited i get when i go......i can't imagine what's going through a 5-year-old's head!!!

I really do think it is the crowds.It makes me uncomfortable and I am their size!She did have one meltdown later in the trip because she wasn't getting what she wanted when she wanted it.Wait until you see those pictures.....

Just got caught up with the new updates...Epcot looks beautiful at night and those fireworks must be amazing in person! We weren't planning on going on Test Track but after seeing your pix I may have to reconsider!

I feel for you and Rachel on that crowded bus ride back...I can definitely see how that could be very overwhelming to a little person. Hope the rest of the bus rides were better

BTW,it took us 40 min from the time we entered the line to walking out.That’s not too bad.

Not bad... I rode it a couple hours earlier on the same day... I was in the single rider line... the wait said 30 mins when I came in and there was an announcement that the wait may be longer than originally posted, but I was on the ride in about 10-15 min..... I think the announcement scared off enough people that the line shrank!!!! I think this would have been around 4:30 because we had dinner ressies for 5:40 and I wanted to have plenty of time.

I went back and looked... earlier I counted 6 this time there were 5 so you got one of them fixed... I believe that would be the second Chef Mickey picture... there is one more in that post and the rest are in the next! If that helps you...

Epcot was beautiful and the strange thing is we saw Illuminations last year we didn't really like it. I think we will give it another try on the next trip. You have go on Test Track!Thanks for reading!

Cool. I love how the monorail stopped during Illuminations at least for a few minutes. That would be neat to see. We have never rode TT at night but now have made a mental note of it. I never even thought of it.

Sorry about Rae screaming on the bus. She probably has a big claustrophobic problem and that is how she reacts. Nothing you could have done except keep her and other safe.

And poor Rae on the bus do you think it's anthing to do with being dark? We were so surprised when the buses turned the lights off over here they drive in the dark with internal lights on

Great TR! Ewwwwwwww for the puddle in BK. THat's nasty. I don't flip out about much but I would bathing the children in the bathroom with soap & hand sanitizer.

8/31/07 was our first day too, but it was our travel day. I'm interested to see how your Labor Day Weekend compared to ours.

Yes please ride TT at night..its a blast. Thats all I could do on the bus,keep her safe,but I did get some awful looks.

Hi Jo!I think its the dark along with all the people packed around her. She doesn't like either one. Illuminations from the monorail was really neat.
