Our trip to our "Happy place" w/ pics & videos!!*new 7/7!!*Last day Magic Kingdom**

Great update. I would think seeing Illuminations from the monorail would be really nice. Nice of them to stop it.
Looking forward to more.
:thumbsup2

I just read through your trip report and I am loving it. Your kids look like they are having such a great time. I have really enjoyed looking at your pictures. I am starting to plan a first time trip for our family June 1-7. I have already signed up for Tour Guide Mike since I know nothing about Disney and it looks like he really worked for you. I can't wait to hear more about your trip.

Great report. HOpe you post more for me to read killing time before we leave tomorrrow.

We walk toward the Land to see what the Soarin’ line looks like but stop at the new Nemo ride first.:fish:
Disney2007106.jpg

We walked right on and Peyton and Rebekah rode together and Rae rode with me.She wanted to ride with the other kids more but she kept trying to climb out of moving rides to see things while with me or GM:eek: so I kept her with me.The older kids say this ride is the “Nemo It’s a Small World”. Its pretty and I am glad we did it but once was enough.Or was it?:rolleyes1 Rachel loved it and still talks about it often.:goodvibes

We checked on the line for Soarin’ but the wait was 50 minutes:eek: so we went on Living With The Land.My kids could ride this ride a hundred times.:teacher:

They wanted to do some more things but I was ready to go.It was almost 11:00pm and we had been going since 7:00am.
Disney2007121.jpg

We made the loong walk to the bus and boy was that line long.We got onto the second bus and people were crammed in on top of each other. My older two always stand on crowded buses and Rae was in my lap.

:offtopic: Last year we took the boat from Wilderness Lodge to MK and Rachel started screaming and trying to leap out of my arms.At one point another woman was helping me hold onto her because she was trying to climb out the window.:scared1:

Rachel almost imediately started freaking out.She was screaming “get me out of here” at the top of her lungs. She was kicking and trying to hit me and bite me.I held onto her and Peyton and Rebekah moved in front of us so that she wouldn’t hit anyone. Some very kind people tried to help me but she was out of control.I don’t think she could hear me.At one point I looked at Peyton and he had tears streaming and he later told me he was afraid I was hurting her because I was holding her so tight.:sad1: That was the longest bus ride it seemed and she didn’t stop until we got off of the bus.She layed in her stroller taking big breaths all the way back to the room. When we got back to the room I asked her why she screamed on the bus and tried to hurt mommy. She was completely surprised and didn’t remember any of it. :confused3 The kids showered and fell asleep almost immediately.I took my shower, jotted a few notes, and got ready for the next day.

Next up...would we be able to handle the heat at Animal Kingdom??Would GM ride EE??

Plus we add a wheelchair to our entourage.....:guilty:

I love the picture of Rae with the :thumbsup2 ready for TT. She is really brave.

I work with children and I have seen them have these melt downs that they do not remember. Usually when they are really tired. I am so sorry.

Did you add the wheelchair for GM? Was her fall that bad at CM? hope that she is ok.

I can't wait to read more. I am really enjoying reliving Disney through your eyes

Hi,Debbie.:goodvibes If you think she is brave now ,keep reading.:scared1: I think it was the crowded feeling instead of being tired.Or possibly a combination of both.It happened a couple more times when the bus was :crowded: The fall at the CM was not that bad...:rolleyes1

First off, Hi Amy! Great report so far - I did get caught up very quickly! :) I love all your pictures, although I did still see a few x's. It happened to me at some point when I tried to change some things in photobucket - apparently the links don't like it if you edit after posting... Just a thought.

I hope GM turns out OK!

That sounds like an awesome trip. Pardon me for asking on another's TR, but which area is your sis in, in IL. I live in NH now, but I grew up in the Champaign area and still count myself an "Illinoisian." :)

HI! Thanks for joining me in this.:welcome: I haven't changed anything..if I cn figure out which ones ya'll are seeing as X I will just repost them.I see them all.:confused3

Rebekah and Peyton sat together in the back of the car and Rachel sat between me and a teenage girl who was riding for the first time. She was really nervous and asking a ton of questions about what was going to happen.Rae looked at her and said”don’t worry Sissy said its like riding with my mommy and she only scares daddy”.:rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

:lmao: that's classic!

about rachel's meltdown, maybe she has a thing with crowded, small places? plus i think the thing with kids at WDW is they are SO emotional and SO overwhelmed and excited, that when something doesn't go their way, their little minds can't handle it and they go into panic mode. we don't have kids, but i saw plenty of meltdowns while we were at WDW in may and the more i thought about it this way, the more it made sense. i mean, i know how excited i get when i go......i can't imagine what's going through a 5-year-old's head!!!
