This is going to be a very brief TP. My dh, myself and 4 young children were in WDW Sept. 30th thru Oct. 5th. After flying all night we got on the magical express and arrived at the Yacht Club Hotel around 6:30am. We were prepared not to get our room until 3pm, but we were very pleasantly suprised that they had a room ready for us! So we went upstairs showered, then met the rest of our group that we were traveling with for breakfast.
We then hit the MK, then came back to nap since we had only gotten mabye 3 hrs of sleep on the plane.

The next few days we spent park hopping and swimming in the pool. The pool was absolutely wonderful for kids! There was a huge section with sand that was only 2 feet deep and another small pool which was only 1 foot deep that had sprinklers coming out the sides. My kids loved it!

The weather was pretty warm during the day, but in the evenings it cooled off nicely. There were quite a few showers, but they never lasted too long.

I was very impressed with the service and hospitality at the Yacht Club, every single employee, including the housekeeping would say Hi, or How are you everytime we passed by. Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful.

We were on the DDP and we had NO reservations, but I am very happy to report that they weren't needed! We ate at the Yacht Club Galley several times mainly because it was convenient. And we ate a couple times in the parks and never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a table (for 6 people).

As for the rides, we walked onto several rides and most had a 5 to 10 minute wait. The longest line we waited in the whole trip was for the Safari in AK. It was about a 40 min. wait.
Well worth the wait though! We actually got stopped for about 5 minutes waiting for 2 giraffes to move out of the rode so we could go past! We were literally like 2 feet away from them!

I only have one small complaint about the whole trip and that is that we needed to get up at 3am to catch the magical express to the airport for our ealry morning flight and they were testing the electricity in the rooms so we had no lights to see to get ready! We had to prop the door open since the lights were on in the hallway. Luckily we had packed most our stuff the night before. When we got downstairs to check out the woman at the desk was recieving many calls from people not happy about the power outage.

Well that about covers it all. Hope your trips are as magical as ours was! :thumbsup2
