WOW, this is moving real fast. I'm the type of person that likes to plan our Disney trips at least a year out. Our original trip was scheduled at Christmas time. Thank goodness we didn't purchase our plane tickets (didn't know for sure if we were driving or flying). The reason why it moved, my DH and myself are in the processing of purchasing an existing business and there was no way possible to go at Christimas. We are not telling our DD9 or DS7 until were driving to the airport.

We're going June 17-24 and staying at Pop! Never stayed there, but we're looking forward to it. Called this morning and got all our ADR's for the times we wanted (this suprised us). We have been quickly reading all the great advise regarding going in June. THAT'S SO MUCH!!!

Learned so far: (anymore advise would be appreciated )
1. go early to the parks
2. take a late morning/mid-afternoon break at resort
3. drink lots of water
4. spray/fan water bottles
5. use lots of sunscreen
6. wear a hat
7. take ponchos

Sounds like a good plan.

Have fun at Disney!

Regardless of when you go, take a first aid kit, with basic meds, moleskin, bandaids and neosporin.

I know how it feels to bump up a vacation, last fall 2005, after returning from a summer vacation we started planning on a fall 2006 vacation....

We checked the flight prices, wow, we got an incredible price for Jan. 2006! We just couldn't pass it up! Well we bumped up our trip something like9 months. I also love to savor the planning and waiting of it all but with a little bit more than 60 days left, time really flew by.

Guess what? we are returning again in sept(coudn't pass up the free dining, another great bargain) So I ended up with a bonus unplanned trip!

160 days left for this one, I have a feeling I have lots of time to plan and plan some more.

Enjoy your vacation, you'll love the Pop.

oops - sign up by June 4, but free dining is in Aug-Sep - sorry about that...been a long week!

There is a free dining promotion going on now as well. You can get yourself signed up for that!

I'll be at Pop at the same time! It's gonna be a great trip. I'm really looking forward to my first "official" stay on property. My mom usually stays on Disney Property and we usually just visit her.

:wave2: Maybe we'll run into each other.

We just moved our trip up from August to June 17-24th also. I was alittle sad about not doing the free dining but I just keep telling myself that I'll be there 2 months earlier.

Purchase your Spray bottles BEFORE you go. I got them at Walgreens last year for $4. They were $15 (I think) in the parks.

Also I was at the Disney store last night and they had the little battery operated fans that have a string to wear around your neck for $5.50
