The cast is as follows, DH is 52, but acts like a kid, I am 43, (I think, lol) DS is 14, and has lost all sense of adventure, DOESN'T WANT TO GO!! Then we have our 10 year old dd, who is thrilled...
We have gone to Disney for the last 14 years, for 2 - 3 weeks and done all the different parks..we always stayed off site at cheaper hotels, to save $$$'s.
Two years ago, I got a great bonus at work, decided to splurge and stay 2 nights at the Contemporary. We enjoyed it, the walk to MK was awesome...the rest of that trip was spent on International Drive.
Last year we decided to spent 3 nights at The Beach Club, as hubby LOVES Epcot. Really enjoyed it...
This year, we knew we were going for a few weeks, as cheap as possible, when fate stepped in....
I am a die hard contestor, and boy did it pay off!! I won a travel gift certificate from Expedia...whoo hoo!! Visions of Hawaii, a cruise, LA, Bermuda, Bahamas swam thru my head...but then reality set in...no desire to fly...
What the heck, lets plan it around our Disney trip....
DH, wanted to try some different resorts...we debated Grand Floridian and The Polynesian...finally settled on The Poly, concierge for 3 nights...
He also has always thought Coronado Springs was neat looking, presto 4 nights there....followed by The Beach Club for 4 nights, which is December 23, Christmas Eve, Christmas and Boxing Day!!
NO SNOW ON CHRISTMAS!! Whoo hoo, I don't think it will bother me...
Fast forward 8 months to tonite...
Everything is packed..I work til 2pm tomorrow then the drive to Disney World begins...
