Day #3. Saturday the 29th of September. We decide to go to the Magic Kingdom because its the only day during our stay that Spectromagic is planned. The posted hours had been 9pm with one parade. Well, the crowds were out. They kept the park open until 10 and showed Spectromagic twice.
The weather was drizzly but warm. Many people wore ponchos but it was not really neccesary. The drizzle was bearable and actually tapered off by the end of the day. The crowds were definitly up, but not really bad. We did not wait more than 20 minutes for rides (with using fast pass), but many rides had posted times of 40 minutes or more. Someone told me in the parent swap switch area of Splash Mt that they had been waiting for their husband for more than an hour. That little play area does not amuse a child for that long, so I was grateful we were using fast pass. We had been to the MK earlier in the week so we took things slow. We were really re-riding our favorites and wanted to see the parades. My disney darling girls (5,8) wanted to see Cinderella but we did the castle last year so we went to toon town. We waited approx 15 minutes to see Cindy, a penguin and the girl mouse from Cinderella. I forget her name. We enjoyed this set up. NO professional photographer and we were never rushed by the Characters. Acutally all our character interaction this trip was fabulous. Everyone seemed extra nice. The day parade was good, although short and Spectromagic was also great. I thought there was a big american eagle at the end, but it did not happen. Huh, guess I was wrong on that. We really had a great day. The kids were happy and so were we. We had dinner PS for Tonys Town Square but decided to pass on it after noting the prices and the selection. I really love when the castle turns color it is so great. Also there was a lot of entertainment in the park today. Singers, jugglers, bell ringeres.
