What a great week. It started off rocky. We had three rooms reserved at French Quarter. They counldn't find my MIL and SIL reservation, but were able to find a room for them at the same price. They were able to be next door to us the following day. We were in building 5 on the courtyard side. We ate at Whispering Canyon and had a blast. We also ate at Cinderella's Castle on 12/7 before the MYMCP. The weather couldn't have been better. My husband did surfing lesson at TL and really enjoyed it. He's already purchased a board to try on Lake Michigan. All the 3-D rides were fun! The Crush show is really amazing.
The invasion of the Pop Warner kids came the middle of the week. They took over the pool and were crawling up the slide backwards when it was closed. The parents were no where to be found. At least we were able to find space to have fun in the pool. The only "challenging" part of the trip was the bus ride after Illuminations at Epcot. The large groups of cheerleaders kept trying to cut into line, but most of the people were very vocal and they retreated to the back. Also throughout the trip French Quarter was the first pickup and the first drop off. On Sat. 12/11, that changed. On the return, they went to Riverside and French Quarter last. All in all it was a great trip. Oh well, back to reality!
