Just setting up my trip report thread!

We're heading to Disney on Friday, Nov. 28th for a quick 3-day weekend trip. Since it was so last minute, we are staying at the Buena Vista Palace in DTD. We don't have ADR's thanks to the last-minute decision to go, but that's ok.

We are venturing to Disney with our 6 month old daughter, Scarlett. This will be our first trip with her, and our first trip to WDW with more than just DH & myself. I am sure having her along is going to change the way we see and do WDW, but I am excited nonetheless. We're expecting huge crowds and planning on just taking it all in and not worrying about how many rides we get on.

I am starting to pack tonight and trying to decide which baby essentials stay and which ones go. I don't want to waste Thanksgiving Day packing. We are also planning on purchasing our new stroller tonight.

Normally, we cloth diaper. But, I don't want to lug around dirty dipes, so we're going to be using Nature Baby Care Disposables while we're in the world. We've found them to be very reliable and they are free of harsh chemicals or gels.

The latest check of the weather is looking really promising. 70's during the day and 50's at night. It should make it easier to pack clothes for the baby. We're planning on a onesie/pants outfit each day and bringing along a sweater and a blanket for early morning/late evenings.

That's it for right now! I am sure I'll have more before we leave Fri morning!!

Please let me know how everything works out! We plan on going Dec 21st-24th with our then 5 month old son. We cloth diaper as well and I've been going back and forth. I think I'll use disposable, but only because I have 2 or 3 packs of them that won't get used otherwise. I told people I was going to use cloth, but they didn't listen! :rotfl2:
We're debating on getting a different stroller or using his full size one. I want him to be able to lay down, so I don't really want one of the cheap umbrella strollers. We also use a sling a lot, so that will be very helpful!

We ended up getting a Combi Cosmo EX. It's a lightweight stroller (almost like an umbrella), but it has infinite recline and she can almost lay all of the way back in it. I really like it. We did a test run with her today, and she seemed to enjoy it.

I am planning on using the Moby or ring sling for most of the day.

:woohoo: Bags are packed :cool1: and we will be ready to hit the road first thing tomorrow morning! Usually, we'd wake up at 0:dark30 and go, but we don't want to wake the baby up too early. So, we're planning on getting to our first park (AK) around 11ish. Sure, we'll pay the price with crowds, but it's better than paying the price of a cranky baby!

My plan as far as packing for the baby was 1 outfit per day (we're usually safe with this ::knock on wood::). Onesie and pants for daytime, and packing a sweater in the diaper bag for the evenings. I brought one bonus "diaper bag" outfit in case of emergency. Worst case scenario, we need clothes, we buy them or wash a load at the hotel.

I packed a large blanket for the hotel bed. We co-sleep, and for some reason, I just don't want her sleeping on the hotel sheets/mattress. Call me crazy.

I am so excited  I don't know if I'll be able to sleep tonight!!
