We got up so we could be at EMH at MK, and caught the bus right away. Well, anyways, we started to catch the bus right away. As soon as we sat down, my dh said you do have the passes right? Uh, no, I didn't!! I had taken them out of my purse on Saturday and put them in the room safe since we were not doing anything at the parks. Well, I told dh to go ahead and take that bus and I would catch the next one, and asked the driver if I could please hop off as he was pulling away from the stop. I RAN back to the room, and then back to the bus - perfect timing! Second bus I sat by a delightful senior in high school who was there with her Mom and cousin. We chatted the entire ride to MK.
As I got off the bus and rushed toward the entrance, I saw dh and boys, and we got in our first real line - the bag check. Finally got into the park (thank goodness they are checking the bags - be sure to allow time for this!) and headed in, only to see characters that we "had" to stop and get autographs from! Boys loved this though - ended up getting Baloo, Robin Hood, Daisy, Timon and a very funny Rafiki to sign our books, before heading toward Tomorrowland.
Hopped right on to Buzz Lightyear, over to Space Mountain and got our fast passes for SM later, while we waited in line to ride it since it was a short wait. While we waited for the fast pass time, we rode the Speedway (so far worst wait was here ). We then went up to ride Mad Hatter Tea Party, saw The White Rabbit and the Tweedles - very fun characters! By now, it was time for the fast passes at SM and oldest ds felt "guilty" because of all those people we got to pass.
We headed over to our PS at the Crystal Palace, but not before stopping to get Pluto and Suzy's autographs. The line was long to check-in at CP, and you should have seen and heard the people who don't understand PS vs. Reservations! We had Robert D as a server, and he was very nice. By the time we finished eating, we had visits from Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore and waited a bit to get Tigger back to our side. I noticed that the characters needed a good "bath". How often do they get cleaned? Also, be sure to check out both dessert lines (yes, I love dessert!) - I noticed that they had a few different items on the two sides.
After eating, we walked over to Adventureland - through The Swiss Family Treehouse, saw Aladdin and Genie and got autographs, rode the Magic Carpet (dh got wet!), got a fast pass for Jungle Cruise, rode the Pirates of the Caribbean, stood in a long line 45 minutes to ride Splash Mountain per youngest ds request, by the time we got done, we were able to get a fp for Thunder Mountain, went over to use fp for Jungle Cruise, went up to the Hall of Presidents, came back to use fp on Thunder Mountain, and rode the Railroad to Toontown (only time I have ever had to wait in line to ride the railroad!).
In Toontown, we rode Goofy's Barnstormer (saw Goofy there too, but already had his autograph) and went into The Hall of Fame to get autographs from Perla and Cinderella (also saw the girl I rode the bus with in the morning - it's a small world afterall!). We headed to Fantasyland, where there were lines and more lines! We rode Snow White, the Carrousel, and when we saw there was a 25 min wait for it's a small world, chose to go to Peter Pan instead (supposedly 40 minutes - but more like 70). While we waited in line, we saw Dopey nearby, dh held our spot while I took boys over. After this line we were ready to sit down and do nothing, so we went to find seats for the fireworks. Had great seats by the Rose garden on a short "wall" to the right of the castle.
After the fireworks, we walked through some shops on Main Street and headed back to the bus. As we waited and rode back the rains came pouring down - thank goodness for the Disney transportation! Just walking to the room, we got soaked and were freezing by the time we got to our room, so we ordered Pizza Hut for dinner. Unfortunately, dh had to go to lobby to pick up our order, but we had the best pizza, and ended up being the best bargain of the trip!
