Today we started the day with breakfast at Chef Mickeys. We let the kids pick this one, and they picked a winner! We loved the meal and the character interaction. We also bought the family picture since we didn't have any recent family pics.
We headed into MK for the morning, and did Peter Pan, then headed over to BTMRR to ride again. We then rode over to Tom Sawyer's Island where the kids had a great time at the fort, but oh no DS had a problem. He lost a pin, his 'bad boy' pin....down the toilet! Nope, we don't need that pin anyway, do we?!
Then headed back towards Mickey's Toontown Fair to ride Barnstormer for DS. Boy was he surprised it was so short. There's a lot of difference between ages 3 and 10!
We then lined up for the Indy cars, and each kid got to ride by themselves. It's great not to have a fight on your hands on who gets to drive!
We were going to try to ride TTA one last time before leaving the park, but some dimwit had stood up on the ride and it was shut down. We decided after ten minutes to pass that one up.
We headed over to the GF for the afternoon tea, and aftewards rode the monorail over to Epcot for the evening.
We hit spots around the World Showcase, catching the movie at France, eating at the Liberty Inn after seeing the show, and listening to the music from the CP, and then strolled some more. Meanwhile the shopaholic, DS, was trying to go into every shop around the showcase! Sheesh. I can't imagine where he got that gene!
DS and I also saw the China show while DH and DD waited by the lagoon and we finally gave it up and headed back to the resort (after DH and I had a silent tiff) At least we weren't screaming like that couple at MK the few days before!
