Hi!

We're arriving late on Oct. 18th, so we won't be going to a park, although we may hit up DTD. We're staying at the Fairfield Inn. We have four day park hoppers and we *may* be going to the Halloween party on the 19th.

10/19: Plaza before the park opens (B); not sure what to do for lunch, but we'll be spending the day at DL. We want to hit Bill and the Hillbillies and the area back there for the meet and greet along with many rides. Dinner will be Blue Bayou, early though if we're doing the party, later if we're not. If we don't do the party, then we'll possibly hop over to DCA.

10/20: breakfast either at Taste Pilot's or Pacific Wharf. This will be all DCA, all day. DH (and I) really want to see Carsland and ride some rides (multiple times if possible). Lunch at Ariel's Grotto and dinner at Wine Country for WOC.

10/21: breakfast at Storyteller's and dinner at Goofy's Kitchen. We'll probably spend today at DL and maybe hop over to DCA for the evening to see more Cars stuff. However, we do want to try to catch Fantasmic! but the calendar for Oct. isn't out yet. What are the chances that they'll have two shows on a Sunday in October?

10/22: We leave today and we're going to do the PCH breakfast. I think our flight leaves at 4 PM so we'll probably have until about noon or so to catch our shuttle back to LAX. We do have tickets for today, so we will go ride our favorites. Since it's a Monday morning, we will probably go back to Toontown and maybe move our PCH to closer to their closing time--BTW, does anyone know this? I checked All Ears but that's one of the few restaurants they do not have times for.

TIA!

So far sounds great! I would just advise reading some of the CarsLand threads and gain a plan of attack for that area. Everything else should be very manageable with your meal plans.
Have fun !

I'll stick my comments below. Sounds like an action packed trip!

The party is a blast so I'd do that! If not, DL is closed so I'm thinking DCA might be a tad busy.... If you are doing BB for dinner I'd just grab a snack at lunch time.

We really enjoyed the breakfast selections at the bakery in DTD. It's open early so you could eat before you get to the park and scurry back to Toy Story Midway Mania...I mean Cars Land. Do you have little ones with you? We loved WCT.

Can't help you with this one although I can recommend both of your eateries!

No kids, sadly. Just us two.

I will look into the bakery at DTD. I really want to do the party too, but we're waiting until we get a little closer to make the decision. I'm hoping three weeks from tomorrow (pay day--cha-ching!). I want to ride Toy Story Mania as well, but Carsland is what DH wants to do more than anything so we'll be spending a bit more time there.

Thanks!

If there are any other opinions out there, I'd love to hear them.

You don't need kids with you to have a blast at Disney :goodvibes I think unless you want to see the characters I'd skip the dinner at Goofy's Kitchen on 10/21. It's a bit of a haul to get over to the Disneyland Hotel and I think you'd have just as nice a dinner on the Warf and have a lot more time at DCA.

Have you been to DL before?

TK

This will be our first trip to DL.

We love characters and, even though I don't like strawberry jelly, I want to try the peanut butter and jelly pizza.

If you love the characters you'll enjoy Goofy's Kitchen :goodvibes Who wouldn't love PB&J pizza?? ::yes::

Let us know how your plans go. You are in for a treat visiting DL!

For your first day at DCA, I'd go get FPs for RSR first thing. Then head into Flo's for breakfast. You could enjoy carsland first thing in the morning and ride Luigis and Maters while you're waiting for your time to roll around on RSR.

Also, if you have a smartphone, there are a few free apps that will list wait times for attractions. Mousewait is pretty accurate cause the times are entered by people in the park.
