Our summer project (finished basement pics)

Cleveland's not too far from Wisconsin, right? :confused3 Looks great! :thumbsup2

It looks awesome! :thumbsup2

We're building a house next year w/ a full basement (YAY!) and we're trying to figure out what to do w/ the space - break it up, make it one huge room, or what. These pics give me some good ideas!

:thumbsup2 Beautifully done.

Its pretty. We are redoing our basement right now. DH and his brother did all the stud work on Saturday (nothing like seeing a pile of wood become studs), and tomorrow DH and my dad are putting in the electrical and walls and phone jacks.. (DH is doing the electrical/phone)...Dad is doing the drywall/finishing.

I would love to have had someone put it in for us, but that wasn't an option.

Love the bar! That is fantastic. I'm sure you will have some wonderful parties there.

OMG OMG OMG......this is my basement......and my backyard.....BUT "rough"....I absolutely LOVE  everything you did...I just showed DH and he was blown away...saying that is our basement....

we have done NOTHING....but looking at what you have done is AMAZING. We have Sliders instead of the French Doors to the back patio. We have the same exact amount of space. We just built the home and everyone that goes down in our basement says we need to do something with it, it is so huge and spacious and bright and windows and the sliders....OMG, if I had pictures of it I would post them and you would be amazed.

Bob, I may be copying you (once we have the budget in order)!!!

WOW, I just cannot tell you...even the back deck is identical to ours and the windows and sliders off the back deck...except we have THREE large windows not four.

We just spent $700.00 on solar lights for the patio area as well as the walk down from the deck into the patio area. Along with mulch and plants and some wrought iron poles for chimes. I have three new beautiful chimes. WE have deck furniture but we need furniture for the patio area!!!

Thanks for sharing. :disrocks: :jumping1: :thanks:

Very nice. I'm having basement envy. We need to do the same thing to ours. Already have a walkout, and I put the french door in last year. I was wondering about the ceiling as well--those drop downs are disgusting, yours looks great.

Your basement looks nicer than the rest of our house. I hope you get many years of enjoyment out of all that hard work.

Don't worry John, it looks nicer than the rest of our house too. :rotfl2: We have better materials (nicer carpeting, granite, tile flooring) down there than we have upstairs (which, of course, means eventually DW will want to upgrade that :sad2:  )

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I like the steps/stones on the outside. They did a nice job. Now make sure your local municipality doesn't get wind of this because your taxes will go up. :teeth:

looks beautiful!
doesn't look like a basement at all!

now can I have a coors light please! :D

When we build basements in Houston, we get swimming pools. Lucky you for being able to have one!

That turned out really nice! :thumbsup2

That's a really nice! :thumbsup2

it doesn't look like at basement at all!

enjoy it!

Bob, it is awesome looking....I love what you have done. You should be very proud of it. Thanks for sharing :goodvibes
