our stay at HRH in a week!

Firstly thanks for all the tips and knowledge given on this forum

We check in at the HRH Jan14th-19th

So far we have
1. Booked the APH Rate ($149 for a Pool Room)
2. Purchased the AP online - we have a Confirmation Number via email
3. Added our Loews Number to the reservation- not sure what this will get us with such a discounted rate?

Now we need to purchase 3 tickets as well, I think the $85 DEAL will suit our needs.
Do we get a discount on these with our AP?
How do we go about that online, prior to actually being at the Park?
Have we done this in the correct order?

Also a question about parking
Any way to avoid the cost of parking at the hotel?
aka parking cheaper or free at the Park itself

There are no discounts on the $85 tickets with the AP. These tickets have to be purchased online. Simply go here http://www.universalorlando.com/tickets.html

You can't avoid the cost of parking at the hotel. You can't leave your car at the parks overnight. You can always ask them to waive the fee because you are staying for such a nice long time. It never hurts to ask but they dont' need to do it.

Sounds like you've done a great job in planning your vacation. All that's left is to have fun!!!

we are mega excited
Road trippin it from Ohio, altho we are actually from Australia !- we did this a couple of years ago and took the girls to Disney World, stayed at Coronado Springs
now they are 11 and 14, and we are all absolute roller coaster lovers.
We have nothing like the scale of these places in Australia.
All of it is awesome- the road trip, the parks, hearing the girls tell their friends back in Australia what we have seen and done!
