Do online checking and print out boarding passes while- at the park? Can I use my iPhone to check in and then later print out the boarding pass at hotel?

You can check in with your phone. Boarding passes can be printed later, either at the hotel desk, or at the airport; just "pretend" to check in again to get to your boarding passes. Your boarding number won't change.

If you don't have a smart phone, you can go to guest relations at any park or resort and they will do it for you. Be sure to have your reservation number(s).

This is what we do to. I almost always go to a kiosk to print our boarding passes since our printer at home hasn't been working. I put the reservation numbers in the "notes" app on my phone so I just pull them up and type them into the kiosk

Just check in on your ap with your iphone. Its SO quick! And if you check in with the ap it will automatically prompt you to print your passes at the airport, atleast it did for me the last time I flew, super easy!

However, this is one of the rare instances where purchasing EBCI may be worthwhile. I always hated having to additionally plan my time to make sure I can check in while at the parks. I would sometimes hang back from the family because I needed to check us in. And if we had multiple confirmation numbers, oh bother!

I'm pretty sure you can purchase EBCI just for the return leg. $12/person adds up but it can be worth it so you don't miss your child's face on Toy Story Mania.

I agree with you and have personally purchased EBCI for the return trip home but not the flight to MCO on several occasions. It's worth it to me not to have to worry about where I will be 24 hours prior to departure!

EBCI costs $12.50 each way.

DH and I checked in on Monday while waiting in line for Spaceship Earth. We got A38 and A39. When we checked in for our flight to Orlando, we got B21 and B23...don't know how someone snuck in between. On our way to Orlando, we sat in Row 13 (window and middle) and on the way home, we were in Row 2, middle and aisle. I did not bother with EBCI and I don't know if I will in the future either. I figure as long as we can find 2 groups of 2 seats together anywhere in the plane, we will be fine. Our kids will be 9 and 11 the next time we fly so we don't have to keep all 4 of us together.

We just flew Manchester NH to Baltimore. I did not get the EBCI and used my iPhone app to check in for the return flight. It was supper easy! And I did it at exactly 24hours prior. HOWEVER, we got B 42, 43 and 45 and the flight was full! They let us board with family boarding because there were no kids on the flight and even though my child is older than 4, they allowed it. There is no way we would have been together. On the way there, we were B9, B 22 and B24-I did it within seconds…..weird!!! I think we'll be purchasing EBCI-the stress was too much for me!

Thanks, since this is our first time flying SW we did purchase the EB for both ways. But I still thought that we had to check in at 24 hours anyways and that the EB just have some kind of priority. I did it at home 24 hours in advance of our departure and got A 53,54,55 I believe. But the airport was so packed and the line at security so long that by the time we got to the gate they were already boarding. We still managed to get on just when they were starting the B s I think. It was all a rush and a blur. I am hoping we get to the airport earlier enough with ME not to be quite so rushed, but who knows it might be the same thing.

I'm glad things worked out for you. Even boarding with the B's is usually going to allow you to choose good seats together. And if you didn't, you could cut the line as long as a later grouping is currently boarding. Just think of those A'a as if they were a fast pass!

FYI- When you purchase EBCI, you are actually being automatically checked in by SWA 36 hours ahead. You only need to print out boarding passes at your convenience.

Don't forget to use RAC (Resort Airline Checking) at your hotel. You do not want to wait in line at MCO Southwest to check bags. Ugh !

Paying for EBCI gets your automatically checked in at T-36.

Yes, that's the beauty of RAC and preprinted boarding passes. Get off ME bus, go up to 3rd floor for departures, and head straight to TSA.
