has moved out to live with his partner.
We are missing him already & it's only been a few days since he's gone but the house is not the same without him. :sad1:
I did'nt think i'd say this but i'm missing the trail of distuction that follows him from room to room, the thump thump from the base on the music.
On the plus side he's only moved in up the road from us & his partner is a lovely girl & the best. :woohoo:
I know it's time to let go of the apron strings but it's hard & sad when they want to go it alone. :)

 Aww bless, I can imagine that it's very difficult for you, and I know it's something that I'm not looking forward to

Mandy :)

Oh Jill, at least he has not gone too far away, and you seem to love his girlfriend. Look on the bright side she will have to up with his distruction now !

:grouphug: to you Jill, I hope you can learn to enjoy your evenings without the noise

:grouphug: Oh dear, I know that time is fast approaching for me too. Eldest currently at university finishing end of first year, so I can understand how you feel. It isn't nice but try and think of all the things you can do and have a bit more 'me' time. I dreaded my son going to university and that first term was worse than I thought because my son was so occupied with uni, he barely had time for us which was a direct contrast to what he was like before he went. I have got used to him being away now and he often comes home but it is such a big change.

At least your son has just moved up the road and is with someone you like. I know it is hard but as Mums this is what our job has all been about to bring up our children to responsible adults and leave home. It doesn't make it any easier I know but you have to congratulate yourself on your son, you have done a good job.:)

I felt much the same when my eldest son left to move into a flat with a friend a few years ago. You don't realise just how much you will miss them until they are gone !!

Other one is 17 so he's got a bit to go yet !! I do feel for you though.

Oh Bless you. Although, things could be worse though.. At least you can go up the road to tell him off for leaving his clothes on the floor.. :lmao:

Ahh Jill  I am sure he will be home for sunday lunch to cause distruction in your house again.

Enjoy the peace and quiet!

Ds came pop in last night & the first thing he did was ate his dad's cheese strings. :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1
I've told him that i'm going to change his room into a Disney room, :lmao: :lmao: & his reply to that was if i do he's not moving back if any thing happens.
This from a boy that has red velvet curtains with tassels on in his lorry & would like the matching bed spread. :confused3 :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
There is one thing they are both missing , the dishwasher, they can't have one cause there is'nt the room. DS said he would bring the plates round twice a week to put in ours. (don't think so). I said i'll buy you some rubber gloves cause i don't want him getting dish pan hands. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Still missing him and his humour

Bless! Nice that he's still so close:)

I'm sure I'll be the same when the time comes but as DS is only 18 months I've got a while :goodvibes
