Nothing like waking up in the middle of the night with a vomiting child only to have them vomit again in your hair in the middle of the night. So I've got a sick day today. Probably negates any redeeming nutritional value they may have but, I'll choke down brussel sprout - if they're covered in melted Cheese Whiz

Dis Unc - when we originally couldn't get tix for the Rolling Stones in Pittsburgh last fall, I bought them for Hershey. Wound up getting a deal from a broker on eBay, so I sold the 1st set. Hear it was a great concert in a small venue though. Have never visted the park even though my oldest DS was a football coach @ Line Mt. High School (1/2 hour or so north?). We were going to visit but, I couldn't find a reasonably priced hotel around Hershey...any suggestions?

Haha! This made me laugh out loud VERY early in the morning while the rest of my family is still sleeping. C'mon 1s! Come out of the woodwork and hang with us! I know there are lurkers on this thread, too, because I've had PMs from a few of them. They also should come out and play (but it's easy to see why they'd get overwhelmed in trying to keep up! )

Ok I was headed home after a horrific day at work (worked 14 hours today of crazy busy baby business).

Thought I would alot myself an hour to catch up on the liminess. Drive up to my house and there is a coyote in my front yard. He (not exactly sure of this fact) trots off into the street but stays there. I am unable to get out of my car cause the darned thing wouldn't go away and I was afraid maybe it was hungry or something. I finally decided I was tired of honking my horn (waking up my dh) and decided to try and run it off. Practically had to run over the darn thing to get it to run away. I'm going to call the dow in the am. We have had an outbreak of tulemia here but I don't think it really causes much in the way of symptoms in dogs so I wouldn't suspect it would make a coyote freaky. I'm used to critter problems where we live but this is a first on a coyote stalking. We have a horrific rabbit problem this year and I'm sure that is why he is hanging around here plus there are lots of kittys and puppys too. Well I'm going to have to catch up tomorrow night. I'm sure it will be another late one for me. Don't you all have too much fun.

Aiiee! Coyotes. I almost killed myself last year trying not to hit one in the car on the back road home. Why I was trying not to hit it instead of avoiding killing myself has been a subject of contemplation ever since!

Good Morning Everyone....I won't be able to chat much today because it is my last day of work for awhile (trying to get ahead on my work), flight leaves at 8:20 a.m. tomorrow for the motherland. Good news is that my hubby said he will bring his lap top, so maybe I can keep up a little with the boards and let you know how everything is at WDW.
My hdlgmhpc's are packed and ready for their trip!!!!

It really is like a family. I feel so excited for the people on their way to WDW, and I'm in awe that I will be in WDW during the visit of DisUnc and Cynd . I haven't been this excited since Eric Estrada was signing autographs at MGM. ::cop:

I really hope we run into you there, dwheatl. Where are you staying (did you say and I just don't remember)? If you see me. be sure to have your autograph book open and your fat pen already clicked. I have a lot of autographs to sign, you know, and it's not nice to make all those other people wait.



I'm so bummed that I probably will not get to bump into DISUNC. He's leaving the day after we get there and we are arriving in the late afternoon, so probably won't get to any place but the resort that first day (unless, perhaps, a quick jaunt to DD, maybe). Boo!

WOW! That is scary. We have them in my general area too. I know a woman whose small dog was eaten by a coyote a few years ago, and it's not like I live in the wilderness. We live in a fairly well populated area! Glad your ok

I did know about the lime green mickeys from Home Depot. Can't say I purloined my share of green color testers, but I "borrowed" with no intention of ever returning them.

By the way, who knew brussel sprouts were so controversial? They are good with butter, they are good with cheese. They are good with anything, they are good with everything. They are probably even good with Green Eggs and Ham....
