Isn't amazing just how much lime green there is in the world? I surely never paid that much attention to it before we started fooling around on this thread. My best friend has a lime green VW! I'll pick up just about anything lime green while shopping, walk around with it in my cart for awhile, and then ask myself, "Do I really need this? Probably not." I have to PUT DOWN the lime green apparel whenever I see it in the store...I'd spend a mint (which is also usually green...lol). I'd like to meet the DISer who came up with the original idea for lime green as the DIS color. That person is kind of like Thomas Edison, or Alexander Graham Bell, or the guy who invented the remote control! :love:

Just wanted to say hey...

I am a newbie to the DIS and I have done nothing but read it for the last 2 days... I love all these ideas... and one day I WILL learn the secret hand shake!! I am going to HD tonight... I am going to Disney in October and it will be my 20th time in 24 years... so I def love Disney... and I love all these secret things you all do... so here's hopin that one of you see me this October with my Mickey heads on my backpack!!! -mac :banana:

When I first found out we were going to WDW this year, I did almost nothing for an entire week (ok, maybe two) but read these boards to educate myself. I even dreamt of WDW details a few nights. I know DL like the back of my hand, but WDW is another story! Heh. It's great, though. I feel so *prepared* for my trip! Glad to have you aboard.

Hi everyone! I went and got my Mickey Heads last week, didn't show my husband until today because I figured he would think I was a freak. He actually said "we need to go to Office Depot or somewhere and get the stuff to laminate them". Totally shocked me. He says all that comes out of my mouth now is "DISNEY!!!"

After reading this thread, I feel like I need to get more because I only got two. One for my backpack purse and the DH's backpack.

I also felt like I was stealing, even picked up some other paint samples to hide what I was up to.

This will be my first trip to DW!

Okay 2 questions...I don't want to break DIS protocol :confused3

Is it okay to use a hole puncher and attach the Mickey head with a matching color ribbon to my collar ? I love the mouse...excuse me the Mouse and his "people" always treat me very well I wouldn't want to show any disrespect..also. will you say Hi! if you see me playing outside of one of the WDW kennels?

I haven't told my BF about the LGMHPC, nor am I going to! It's bad enough I see his eyes glaze over everytime I start talking about the trip. If we're on the phone it's a bit (a lot) suspicious how he's suddenly busy... an important call on the business line.. one of his guys is screwing something up and he needs to fix it NOW... earthquake (and we live in PA) :confused3

So if I told him I'm, ummm.. confiscating Lime Green Mickey Heads from HD I do believe he'd have me committed again... err, I mean, nevermind :crazy:

He's not coming with us anyway, though he has paid for half the trip so I'm not really complaining.. just not sharing any Need To Know Basis information :smooth:

oooo.. hearing that Mission Impossible music again! Oh, wait, I forgot, that's just my ringtone :blush:

Wow, if I had a dog to bring to WDW, I would totally attach a LGMH to his/her collar! Go for it!

I miss my doggies. :sad1:

Ok, granted I've got 5 months to go, but I gotta get to HD! Although I did see a paper punch of Mickey's head at our local scrapbooking store today.
And I've still got my DIS laynard from last year! Although I wish that was wider - be easier to get my pins on. :tinker:
