I dont know the whole story, but in the link Kelly posted, it said she got that much - even w/ 4 kids - she could buy a couple of houses w/ that!

I bet the majority of that goes to tuition.

Let's see, a 220,000 house that is termite riddled. (no one checked this? You have to be clear to sell a house here and take care of any damage first!) Private school for 3 kids that he pays 90% of. 3,800 a month support. She works 2 jobs. He is in finance in NJ.

It has got to be a real high prices up there. I was lucky to get 500 a month for 2 kids! And they tell me I was lucky to get that 14 years ago!

Mary, I think we qualify. I already have all the paper work & pictures done, just need a clen house for the video! How 'bout you?

I'm not sure "I wish" is the right answer. I'd love a new house from them, but I wouldn't want to go through anything worse than I already am. Actually I wouldn't worry about a clean house for the video, that just makes you look needier!

I was wondering how the families could move in so quickly, that makes sense about the 2-3 weeks. That must be the hardest wait ever. Hope people don't get robbed during that period.

Thanks for the luck and good wishes. So, wanna know the nitty gritty?

I called Tuesday to see if she wanted to go out maybe this weekend. She is going to have her 2 boys this weekend so couldn't on the weekend, but wanted to have lunch. So, we decided on lunch on Wednesday at 1:00.

She text messaged me around 11:00 to see where we were going. I sent her back the message that she must be hungry if she's already asking, and then picked out a cool place that serves salads, pizza, calzones, and wraps.

Around 12:45 she sent me another message that she was gonna head to the restaurant already since she was a bit farther away. I got to the place around 1:10 and still got there first. She arrived just as we got our table.

We talked and chatted and laughed. I think it went very well. At the end I told that we need to go out again and she agreed. So, she said to call next week so we can go to a movie or something else. We both walked out of the restaurant and she asked where I parked. When I got there the parking lot was pretty full so I parked about 8 lanes over. She said she was parked right in front so she can give me a ride to my car. So, we drove over and parked...(just going for suspense here). We chatted a bit more, and then I said I'll call you and she said talk to you later.

I think it went pretty well. Of course I don't do this too often these days so who am I to know

Cool! So um how long before you introduce her to the DIS!?!?!? Not sure if she's ready for us yet though.

nope....I spoke with you, then P89, then T......by the time I realized it..it was 1:30 and then my old boss called me.... they were doing the unveiling between 1-3 and ALL roads within a mile of that house were closed. You had to be shuttled in..... I never would have made it...oh well, I should drive by this weekend.
