see, i pay for it myself...it's hard to not do homework out of a book YOU paid 100 bucks for....

it's equally as hard to skip class when you pay for it yourself...

and you CERTAINLY don't get bad grades when you barely had the 2100 to go there in the first place...who knows when you can take it again?!

Uh oh everybody...plgrn seemed really nice when I met her at EPCOT....but behavioral science??? Are we her research project for this semester....her test subjects.....we would definitely provide a lot of material for her to analyze!

Thanks for saying we are hot, especially without seeing us!! But... we are going to be in Virginia, and near the east coast at that..not W Virginia, which is entirely another state and about 4+ hours over the mountians from Richmond! Just pointing that out!

ME ME!! I have been warped for a long time. Ask Teresa...she knows me! (and at least I spelled warped and not wrapped, which I am really unwrapped!)

What a differance the school year makes. Care free teens who, during the summer, would be on line until the wee hours of the morning and sleep all day. Now the get sleepy at 8:39. Lizzy I was in marching band, so I remember how tired you can get with after school rehersals and then sectionals after that. Man, I miss those carefree days.

Also, I have a student who still can't write his name after a month in kinder (and his name is only 4 letters long). I get his homework, and his name is written pretty well (part of homework is practice writing your name 3 X a night until you master it). I asked him who did his name-writing homework. You guessed it. Mommy. That's really going to help the kid learn how to write his name.

Can you imagine how long it took ME to learn my name? By the end of kindergarden it took most of my page. I would start at the far left of the page and it would end up swinging up the right hand side of the page (90 degree angle)
Mom never helped me, just encouraged me to keep trying. Took till end of grade 1

OK - I'll say it, HAPPY Wednesday!!!!!!! (I've been putting it off 'cause I'm not looking forward to this AM....I have a doctors appt that I'm not thinking I'm going to like - bleh. It was supposed to be in Dec and his office called yesterday and said "can you come in tomorrow morning at 8:30am instead?" When does THAT happen?????? Double bleh....so wish me luck, or atleast wish me good magazines in the waiting area!)

I was right there with you. I'd be sitting at the table trying to write Mary-Kathryn with my (by the end of the year) good friends Franklin, Christopher, and Elizabeth while Lisa, Ann, Scott and David were all off playing somewhere. Oh the horror, Btw, does that count as child abuse?!?!?

Sidenote: (Thanks DU ) I used to pay for my niece Katherine/Katie to take gymnastics when she was 2 1/2. Well the teacher wanted to quit so she was training/observing a potential teacher who wanted all the 2-3 y/o's -- you know Katherine, and her classmates Danielle, Christina, and Elizabeth.....- to spell their names out using their bodies! She couldn't seem to grasp why this would be an inappropriate activity for 2-3 y/o's! The teacher & her argued about it for quite a few minutes, needless to say she DIDN'T get the job!
