We just got back from a 'surprise' trip to Williamsburg, VA.We went to Busch Gardens.
I have a few photos to share with ya'll.
As soon as I get them on photobucket I will post them.

We went four years ago. The kids loved Alpengeist. A drunk lady stole my DH's wheelchair while we were on a ride. She wouldn't admit it was ours until I pulled DD's hat out of the back pocket.

Way back when we had Busch Gardens in CA, mom had a few too many free beer samples on a 100+ degree day. My brother and I found her snoozing on the lawn next to a "Keep off the grass" sign with my dad sitting watch over her.
I guess I come by my "laundry lightweight" status honestly.

my family went to Nana's tonight and I made a turkey dinner for everyone. I told them it was appropriate because it is Thanksgiving in Canada today!

VERY good! afterall we are so close! My family was happy that the restaurant we went to for my Nana's 85th B-Day had a Turkey Dinner special. I really really
hate poultry so they got it without me having to wear a barf bag around my neck while I cook it :crazy2:

all in one day! I'm jealous!!

:rotfl: Went to the mall to get Stinkerbelle's hair cut. They have a Cartoon Cuts there. Its a place just for kids, each chair/booth has its own tv that shows different cartoons for the kids. She had her hair cut while watching Barney. After that we basically just left, no time to do anything fun.:(

Well we are hoping to make it to the pumpkin patch but it is rainy and cold. It is snowing right now around 5000 feet elevation. We are at about 3900 so not sure if it is going to give us a little snow yet or not. So we are getting ready to go but not sure if it is going to happen.

Oh, I hope you made it!

Yeah, Its really nice. I asked DH Saturday Morning if he wanted to take the kids to Sesame Place, and he told me to find a hotel. He would drive us to Williamsburg. :cool1:

Wow, he is such a keeper! :thumbsup2 I've been to VA tons of times & Kings Dominion tons of times, but only to Busch Gardens once on my 20th birthday. Was able to enjoy the Beer tour though, didn't even get carded! :teeth: :goodvibes

I tried to get DH to stop at one of the 8 Home Depots that we passed.....I told him we should get LGMHPC's from other states just to be fair.... he wasn't going for it though.

Just about everyday we pass our HD on the way to the girls' school. And just about everyday Stinker says the same thing. "There's that Home Depot again, we can't go anywhere without seeing it" (that remark was courtsy of ds. She also mentions mickey heads, just working on training her to remember LIME mickey heads! :thumbsup2

I cleaned out my mailbox, so if anyone's been trying to PM me there is open space again!

Haven't tried to pm you, but I was wondering where you've been, we missed you!

We had fun on the trip today. Stinkerbelle napped/recharged on the way over. Nice place, not sure I'd go back. Our group had our own private tour guide. First things was the kids got a personal horse ride. Stink was scared, but got her on it, she loved it. Told everyone at home about it tonight. Walked around to see/meet the animals. The tour guide Sean gave the kids feed to feed different animals, Stink took it, but chickened out & basically just threw it at the animals. These are the animals this farm has: horses, miniature horses, chickens, pigs, goats, sheep, rabbits, donkey, and an emu. Yes, apparently every good farm needs an emu?!?! :confused3 :rotfl: Also we went on a hayride, and picked the perfect pumpkin.

Enchanted Forest was an old amusement park, kind of like Dutch Wonderland in PA. (If you've ever seen the movie Crybaby with Johnny Depp, they talk about The Enchanted Forest all the time.) Well this place bought alot of the attractions, not rides, more like statues from the EF to kind of preserve them, so it was kind of cool.

Dh put my van in the shop. We insisted on another van to replace it because we have so many in our family. Ended up with a maroon Yukon SUV. LOVE IT. Have a great day tomorrow everyone!

Friday night I had dinner with Nana!

Saturday 10:00am to Sunday 10am was Tink's birthday party. Went to a zoo (saw the bear cubs!) and then the girls stayed overnight. Sunday afternoon LizzY had a marching band competition that we went to!

Today got the girls dresses for a wedding Saturday and then did last minute sightseeing with Fl;at Stanley so I can send him of to Cyn tomorrow. Va-Bear he'll be coming your way very soon!

Not on your life. My mama's scary when you cross her :scared1: . You know VA-Bear and I are long-lost twins, and I think she takes more after my mama than I do. Of course, my kids would tell you I can easily be as much of a bear as my mom if you :stir: things up.

Cool! Did they stay overnite at the zoo, that's cool. Our zoo offers that, we've just never tried that--YET!
