Dwheatl. Well you can always go to plan C!! Go with you kid during christmas and then go back say when a fellow limey will be there Jan 24th to Jan 30. You can have all the adr's you want!! Just an idea!!

If only! Only 2 problems with that:
1) $$$$$. Kid in college + teacher pay=a limit to days in DL.
2) Teachers can't take days off. They figure we get enough unpaid days off summer, Christmas, etc, so no vacation days any other time of year.

huh just watching that and thumbs down show ... you know the one, you might wanna change your mind about MY recommendation for The Guardian. They both said that it is too by the book, too easy to know what is coming. Oh and they hated the last scene. Oh well I have been off the target B4. I still say it was great fun! If you are up for a sorta no-brainer action movie I say go for it. If you want a THINKING action movie better go to the next door. If you wanna see how the Coast Guard works I think it was great! in fact during the credits (John insists that we always stay for them ALL) you get to see actual pictures thru out the years right up to Katrina rescues they performed.

Just saw the funniest SW Airlines commercial. This lady is walking through the airport, and her contact lens moves around in her eye. So she stops to try and fix it; she then goes into the restroom so she can fix it there. She gets to the sink, looks in the mirror, and then fixes the contact. Then she looks around the restroom, and notices all the guys standing around looking at her.

Need to get away?

I did something similar when my husband and I drove across country for our first trip to WDW, when we were newlyweds. The only credit card we had was a Union 76 card, so we ate at truckstops in AZ, TX, LA, and FL. They all looked about the same, so by the time we got to E. TX, I was used to where the restrooms were, only in that truckstop, they were switched! There were truckers showering, at the urinals, etc. I hustled out of there double-time .

Hear you there! Ben is in what was supposed to be his last semester. THEN he told us hey I signed up for another year.
John teaches but on contract so we have NO idea of how many days and therefore money this house will see.

It's still early for me. I don't normally get home til about 10 anyway. Just thought I might catch a few extra winks since I have about an hour drive tomorrow morning. I've never driven in Lafayette (in the past it's always been just a quick pass through on the interstate). DW said I need to leave home by 9AM to get there at 11. She accounted for the hour drive, and an hour for me to find the place when I get lost

I told you all Kim was a trip. Man I wish you guys were coming to the meet!!

I laughed when I read this - I figured I'd be on half the night cause I was
soooo excited to have it back. Went to take a quick shower and pretty much passed out after that. I hope to make it a while tonight, but it doesnt look good for me - we went to the VA State Fair and MAN am I beat! But it was GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That happened to me last night. Got on early to DIS a little and ended getting off after about 15 mins to crash. Stinkerbelle & Dobie both got me up at 9:30. Dobe also got me up at 1 and 4. Was able to get some sleep though.
