Oh man I loved Spaceballs but I'm a major off beat comedy fan. Love anything Mel Brooks and love Monty Python also. Dh and I are definately not compatible in this area. He'll watch blazing saddles but that is about as far as it goes.

EEw EEW EEW. Now give me a knock down, drag out action flick and I am there! Sci-fi also right up my alley. Chick flicks don't turn my crank either waste of $$ as far as I am concerned. BUT I am waiting for next Harry Potter. It comes out around our b-days Teresa

My last job was for a software company. I mostly fixed everyones software problems over the phone.....Anyhow one of the customers who called from time to time didnt have a tounge!

:confused3 WHY DID THIS COMPANY MAKE HIM CALL UP FOR TECHNICAL ISSUES???

I use to tell him we 'had a bad phone connection' please email me the details!

NEVER understood anything he said!

Are you sure it wasn't some pranksters pulling your leg? that sounds like something my brother and his buddies would have done.

You & me both buddy! We have lots in common, both the youngest, both caring for our moms, but guess what (in my case atleast) big brothers can do no wrong. My mom tends to forget although I am HER child I am not A child!

Gee whiz, we are kindred spirits. Although my brothers get treated just as bad. My mom sent my 46 y.o. brother into the market to buy a couple of things, and as he's going in, she yells, "Don't forget to count the change!" If we didn't laugh, we'd cry.

I am glad to be able to up when others are up!!! So much fun! :cool1:

Bad news in our house : gotta call the attendance counsellor tommorow since it looks like we haffa pull Em outta high school and goody goddy for me I will haffa home school her -- like I need that stress. :worried:

Did I forget to mention that after High School, I took a job at a local bakery? The place was called the SunFlower Bakery, in West Yellowstone, MT. I worked there for about a year. I made this awesome blueberry danish tea ring. I had to wake up around 1 in the morning to be at work by 2AM to get the donuts, muffins, cookies, and tea rings started for the day. They didn't let me know their secret recipe for their cinnamon rolls. They said if was a family secret (something to do with mashed potato flakes).

Mr Oakie did you grow up in Montana? I grew up just up the road a ways from West. (whitehall)

I couldn't begin to imagine....I stopped at two.... two hands....two kids... I don't know that I could even handle 3 let alone 6!!!!!

Tell me about it. I'm frequently seen holding each child at arms length so they don't kill each other. If I had three I'd have to figure out a way to stand on one leg to keep the third one at bay. Especially the way my kids fight with each other.

Wouldn't it be funny if you could trade your spouse like the Disney pins?!?! :rotfl2:

That is too funny. This one doesn't do laundry let me see what you got. Especially the way my kids traded pins. Brody traded everytime he saw a lanyard. Cody analyzed and viewed each pin being very selective in his trades.

Just listen to all of us hens here Rer and we could have you turned into a super stud (of course you are that already I imagine)
I don't really think that, but I am a really good listener. :teeth:

Hi y'all  how's everybody? Just wanted to pop in to send this out to y'all if you haven't seen it already. Thought of Lizzyswan especially, can someone bring it to her attention? I love free stuff, especially if it's Disney. Ok, it's not entirely free, shipping and handlin are $1.95...and then you have to figure out how to get one for each of the members of your family that will be fighting over it, but it's limit one per household....that's where grandparent and office addresses come in handy.....have fun..

HRH good to see you again. Thanks for the info as I have pirates at my house also.

Just wanted to let you all know that while we are dealing with dd1's problems we thought it best for us to concentrate on only that, so Dobie is no longer with us. We will really miss him, he is a very special little guy!

So sorry to hear that Mary. I'm sure that is going to be really hard for you. My thoughts are with your family. :grouphug:
