There is nothing wrong with hamburger helper.

Absolutely not! It beats the PB&J I've been known to make on occasion.

Totally random, but I'm catching up on posts while enjoying a carton of Starbucks Java Chip ice cream. That's right...a carton. DH better get home soon or there won't be any left!

What's everyone having for dinner tonight? I'm going to have to pry the spoon away from my hand and actually go cook somthing. :guilty: ;)

:wave2: Hi other Donald lover! uhm supper here? Trying to clean out freezer b4 the sno flies and John refuses to use BBQ so we had burgers. Uhm not really --- he brings them in and I grab buns EEEKK :scared1: was someone doing a science experiment in my kitchen :teacher: ?? Ever tried to use white bread for a bun? Trust me not a good idea. Pickles make it all uggy .. ketchup (or in my case BBQ sauce) By the time we were done we all had mush in our hands. :crazy2: Then about 2 hours ago I started eating a bag of sea salt & malt vinegar chips. Now my mouth is burning

whine whine whine eh?

Heck not bad mom --- at least supper! I must admit I have several boxes of both that and tuna helper. I think that the tuna is better! Good advantage to this : emily can make it on days I can barely make it offa the couch.

My 7yo is JUSt beginning to get over the whole "all girls are icky" thing...sometimes..... so S'belle shouldnt get too exicted over him...

But my 3 yo loves ALL and they will probably have a blast!!! :sunny:

Man I wish my 8 y/o thought girls are icky. It never has happened yet.

Mine were given the choice of pbj's, grilled cheese or cereal. Too busy to cook. I've got to get the crock pot fired up for these weeknight meals. Otherwise I should buy stock in skippy.

well got to go to bed early tonight so I'm signing off. My FIL is having abdominal surgery tomorrow and we are all hoping for the best. He has prostate cancer and now has some colon growths.

I'm going to have to have conversation with my boys that I was hoping not to have for awhile. Cody is going to be really scared and worried. Talk to you all later. I'm not going to get the next installment of the trip report done until the weekend. I know you are all just dying with suspense :rotfl:

Oh that is sad news for your family :grouphug: It is such a scary thing when cancer spreads. When my dad was diagnosed with lyphomia earlier this year I was petrified. More for my son than myself. Papa & Ben have been best friends. So I know how you feel about talking to your boys.

I will keep you in my prayers :wizard:

So, are you saying it in English or in Spanish? And there are times when I talk to MY kids that way, after repeating things a few times! :lmao:
In Spanish. Me have degree in English, so me talk OK in native tongue.

I always toast the white bread before I put the burger on it with the pickles, mustard, onions, lettuce, etc. :)

But did you put the hamburger in it? In the National Lampoon Vacation movies, the cousins eat the helper with no hamburger in it. Randy Quaid just kills me in that movie.
