I just hooked up my gps and its only a 10 hour drive from my house to Richmond. Not too bad. I can do it in one day!!!!!!

So when is this big shingdig happening?

Yeah but don't forget traffic, construction, mountains and yahoo's that might make the trip a bit slower. Oh, just plan on staying at least one night so we can all do laundry together!! We'll make it a great weekend!!

I'm tickled that this tickles you. We actually are semi-tropical here, ya know. I thought all the tourist pics of LA were filled with palm trees. And I live about 50 minutes' drive from Palm Springs, don'tcha know. One thing I love about our location here in central so cal is that we're less than an hour from the beach, mountains, or desert. It's pretty convenient!

we have palm trees in our yard, too. the really tall ones. And some short ones on the ground that are growing wild. They are ALL over the place, it makes it feel so tropical..

I don't know, crawfish are kinda creepy looking-- like crabs are really pretty or something Crawfish kinda look like bugs.

They call em "mudbugs"...I have had them once or twice, grossed me out to dissect them...all that shell for a piece of meat the size of an acorn...

Our neighbors who brought us shrimp have been giving us seafood a few times a month now...I am ok cleaning/beheading the shrimp, but the live clams (ew) and the boiled blue crabs ...I don't know, I just can't eat things that look like they could still be alive-have their creepy legs and eyes attached...uckk. It's a shame, because the crabs are really a delicacy, people pay a lot of money to crack those suckers open in a restaurant. I'd rather have a PB&J...

They now have a spray paint you can spray on the shirts and make designs. I made some for us when we went down. easy to make.

hello from the muthaland. i am having my break day right now. it has been an unbeleivably magical trip for me. yesterday i went to the barber shop in MK and the barbershop quartet came in and sarnaded me and sang me happy birthday. then last nightmy husband and i went to victoria and alberts and my husband wore his dress uniform at the end of the night we got our bill it was suppose to be over 200 bucks and it was just over 100 it puzzled us and then the wait staff brought out a card that said "thank for your service to our country and i hope you have a wonderful vacation." it was from someone in the dining room but they had already left...and they paid half of our bill! i thought that was soooo amazing. tonight we have the backyard BBQ and i can't wait!

Wow...makes me warm and fuzzy inside. I love nice people

Its at both places. They do have a paint for on plastic you can find that at michaels too. the other paint is cheaper at michaels.
